It was to me. The chill ambient lighting in the cab was one of the first things about the interior that I was like 'thats kinda cool". Of course, I'm coming from a 2004 Expedition, so I'm easily wow'd.
I found that if the Build Right cover is too tight to the extender, it'll get hung up a bit and not allow the latch to reengage easily. I simply adjusted it over a bit and tightened it and it works great.
Yes, they are plug and play. I added mine today...... You will need 4 ea M4x8mm screws to secure them to the door panel. They are not the same as what Ford uses, but they worked fine.
I have replaced all four door lights and I'm working up the courage to put the cup holder light back in, but pulling the interior out of a brand new truck is nerve wracking......

Does anyone know what size/type the screws are for the rear license plate? The dealer supplied machine screws to hold the plate on, but it seems like the threaded insert is a rubber or plastic material. Most of my other vehicles used a wood type screw.
Thanks for posting these. I have the parts for the cup holder and the doors, but haven't had the ballz to start removing the panels on a brand new truck. Anyone know of any videos to assist?
