when you upgrade parts like leaf springs, the next weakest link is the shackles.
OUR NEWLY RELEASED KHC OFF-ROAD FABRICATED SHACKLES ARE OVER DESIGNED TO BE TOUGH AND WILL TAKE WHATEVER YOU CAN PUT THEM THROUGH. THE SHACKLE BODY IS BUILT FROM 3/16 STEEL WITH A BOXED PASS THROUGH GUSSET FOR...
I saw that as well. It does look though without any level that the 35 pack will fit 37's. I have a 22 on order and will be carrying over my 5 37x12.5 toyo and methods
Location: Charlotte NC
I ordered these middle of summer and it took 10 weeks to get with the plan to use with my Icon leafs. I ordered a Gen 3 so these are up for sale, brand new still in wrapping and orange with no wait.
$275 shipped
If you're a member on any of the Gen2/3 pages- lots of people have switched out the wheels and tires on the 35/37 packages with aftermarket and stock wheels on 37's
oh that noise, yes the dreaded "I drive a 75k truck that sounds like a rust bucket". I had that....the first two leafs springs on the bottom do not have isolator pads, look at them and you will see this and see rust right there. Apply some real grease, not litium type but actual thick dark type
The Ubolts where they attach to the axle? I havent only because it wasnt suggested by Icon or anyone else. Most people are diagnosing the noise as in the far back at the eye for the clunk
The clunk noise cannot be solved without possibly adding some rubber between the eye leafs as seen on another thread.
The squeaking can be solved with some actual grease
Wish Icon would’ve mentioned this but of course not
Try to keep it simple. If you arent going to run 37's but stock tires and arent going to go crazy like a -40 offset, youll be fine with stock tires and a 0 offset or higher + offset
Sick! I would think trying to stuff in some toyo mt 37's without a level may not work. My gen2 is on 9k miles old and local dealership is getting in a 35 package at MSRP. Thinking about it but would want to move over the wheels and tires (only have 4k miles and a matching spare)
Where are they squeaking? I had my buddy Separate each and put some grease in and the squeak is gone. The clunk is still there, will try the solution above.
