If your voltage is too low when tuning, weird crap can happen. I suggest using a trickle charger on the battery when trying to Tune. And make sure you carefully close the hood for the start safety switch.

Ford Dealer!!! Getting a new PCM with the Tune and having it registered with your Vin# will involve Ford, $$$. There are a whole bunch of security protocols with swapping PCMs. The PCM is like $1,100, getting it to work on your truck is probably going cost a $600++
