Sorry for your loss. Sucks big time. Welcome to the club.
Get on that list quick for a new reman long block at the dealer.
It is the cheapest route, unless you're looking for more.
Roush never had a 700HP sticker on their Raptors, so who knows what's with that truck.
I'm sure the Roush guys would say something isn't right with that particular truck.
I agree.
I was going to sell it a month after getting it.
I believe one of my first post was looking for ways to increase power on this forum back in Nov. 2010
Procharger with Hennessy (Glad I didn't go that route) and cams but no heads to fit them was all that was available at that time.
411...
You keep going back to that poor representation of a Gen 1 with Roush stickers and a 700HP sticker.
Obviously, they did something to make that truck run poorly, there is no way it's 700HP!!!
Plus, you do not power brake a Supercharged to spool up like turbos.
Sorry for not buying into the 3.5L
Both 6.2L and the 3.5L have their know issues.
Those are actual pictures that members have posted.
If I can find the posts with the forum search, I'll post them up.
You got me on the 100k I was supossed to change that to tens of thousands between Whipple and Roush.
I have made that statement many times on the forum.
I'll tell you again, plenty of fleet 6.2L have oil pump failures.
LOL, jealous, I don't think so, never liked 6 bangers never will!!!
And...
That is your opinion, and that's OK if you like fart sounds.
And again, since you are dense, and a Jenny fan boy,
you can't and/or don't realize that there are close to 100K Supercharged 6.2L are on the streets.
My motor did not blow up, it seized when the crappy Ford spray metal oil pump gears...
I'm coming down in January for a second time looking at houses, we are using Kim Hawk as a realtor.
Unless you have a suggestion :)
It will be our fourth time staying at the Bohemian Hotel, my wife and I probably biked 60% of the 50 miles of trails just looking at the Neiborhoods. I have lots...
Going big on modding is always a challenge for sure.
That's why I didn't go crazy going for every ounce of power with mine. Been there done that a few times.
Being that I was on call 24/7, I needed a fun high performance but a reliable vehicle.
I will say, from reading all the reviews, just...
Wow, sorry to hear that, well they'll fix you up.
In the mean time enjoy the little extra tech in the Gen2 if you actually use it.
But I'm with you, I've driven in a two Gen 2s not impressed at all.
Maybe one that someone put thousands of dollars of upgrades may feel better, but that 6 banger...
I like 38 in the front more then 36 because it makes parallel parking easier with one hand.
36 in the front is good for long trips for me.
32 in the rear seems to be the sweet spot between softness and tire not rolling over the rim.
But I usually have weight in my truck so 34 is what I run most...
Gen 1's never had Class C as an OEM tire.
They were D's and then E's
C's are the OEM for Gen 2
I run 38 front and 34 rear on E's KO2s
36 front and 32 rear if truck is empty.
That's why I bought the Odyssey Extreme battery.
Between all the sensor checks, fuel pump topping off pressure, then the HE/Intercooler pump starting up and the HE fans (if you didn't wiring it up to a uplifter switch to turn on and off), Daytime runnings lights (if you leave your lights on...
If you can raise the truck high enough safely!!!, two guys can knock it out in less than a day while not killing yourselves.
You need to buy one new bolt that you will need to cut so you don't have to drop the tank.
I've had good results with Mother's Back to Black Tire Cleaner but you need at least two or three if your tires are really bad.
You can watch the brown stuff just run down with just spraying but use a good tire brush.
There's a pack of 6 240z. bottles for $43.94...
Well I hope it doesn't hurt anything in the long run.
Like when the warranty runs out.
I would at least report that to the service manager and have your concern noted.
