I'm sorry but I don't have clue where serial number is located. So, it's not a stupid question at all. LOL
A true dual exhaust from the header collectors with x-pipe or cross-over with two mufflers will not have you lose any power.
Take your time and research the exhaust section here on the...
Congrats!!!
I would just go with a bigger muffler or true dual exhaust exit out the rear bumper.
You have a Tune with the rear O2s turned off I'm assuming or do you have a check engine light on?
There are O2 extenders on the rear O2s.
As far as the type of Whipple, you need to get the serial...
In the first year and a half of sales for the Whipple kit for the Raptor, the intercooler had two sizes.
The first year they were using the intercooler from the 5.0L Mustangs.
The 6.2L is quite a bit larger so they were able to increase the size of the intercooler.
@castine917
Are you ordering a new filter as a replacement or a backup?
Well, in order to properly clean then dry then oil and weep thoroughly and dry again, it takes a couple of days.
Having two allows you to have one ready when it's time to change.
When you call Whipple and if they have the vehicle in their database,
you also need to find out if it has the upgraded intercooler under the compressor.
There is very little gain in HP (15-20+) and just about 30-40 ft-lbs of torque going catless.
And buying cheap Hi-Flow green cats is problematic.
Also, even with cats on headers they will have to install rear O2 extenders.
And not following Livernois's recommendation will probably void whatever...
You also need to know what kind of Heat Exchanger is in front of the radiator.
The Stage two kit comes with a much larger HE with dual fans.
Stage 1
Stage II
Again, Congrats and welcome to the forum.
It sucks when people buy a used Raptor with a Supercharger and the handheld Tuning device is missing.
I've seen this a dozen times or more.
It's a lot of digging and research to find out what the exact mods and upgrades are on the truck.
There are so...
@GTC-NOVA, do you still believe you have a Gen2....??????
I've been watching this thread and didn't want to chime in but now........
the truck you are showing in the pictures you posted......
IS A GEN 1
The wires going to the O2 sensors are tiny and become brittle from heat after many years.
Unfortunately, the dealer is the best bet to get it fixed, they have the laptop, program and procedures to properly diagnose it.
In the meantime, you can pull all three PCM connections and look for...
They were designed for NA for the 2010 1/2 Raptor R,
But the one 2010 1/2 Raptor R that ran the Baja 1000 had even higher lift cams and required modified heads.
True HP numbers are still somewhat of a secret, but it's well north of 500 at the crank
Any extra air and fuel mix is just a big bonus...
They are for wheel hop (aka. axle wrap), you're going to need them when Supercharging, otherwise you could never take off from the light without breaking stuff.
To stabilize the rear, a rear spring upgrade is needed.
Deavers or Icon will do.
As for injectors, I would not use the 47 lbs.
I ran...
My dealer that installed my Whipple removed the hood switch completely.
Now I do not remember if he tied the wires together or taped them apart. Sorry
But I would unplug it and if that doesn't work, try a jumper wire in the connection.
All it does is prevent someone from starting the engine...
No No, the Ford Factory Gold Alarm is not found in a Raptor, I special ordered mine because it's a 6 button key fob.
It's meant for Expeditions, Windstars, anything with extra doors or tailgates to operate.
I use that for my electric Pace Edwards remote controlled bed cover.
I thought it's, Lock twice then remote start.
It's like that on 2013 factory remote.
My Ford factory Gold alarm installed by dealer only requires to press and hold remote start for 3 seconds.
You can try these.

SDHQ used to sell the oil filter sandwich plate so you can add the oil pressure gauge.
I don't see it any more on their website so you're going to have to call them.
@Cody Templeton
Absolutely necessary, wheel hop of any kind is not a good thing for the engine, tranny and rear end.
And no, you do not lose ground clearance with the right Traction Bars.
I highly recommend RPG for the traction bars you will not even lose articulation.
Made with billet...
Billet Oil Pump gears!!!
Traction Bars!!!
Always use Hi Test, change the oil more often.
And of course, don't beat the shit out of it.
Don't use HP Tuner to boost power level beyond the capability of the stock engine, that is why some blew their stuff up.
HP Tuner software corrupts the back end...
The SW Hi-Flow cats did not last with Supercharging.
Not sure if they have newer ones that can handle the extra heat and pressure.
Make sure you tell them you have a Whipple installed on your truck.
There are a few guys that went that route on this forum, only to have them fail.
Then the only...
