Kirk know his stuff very well. Bought my suspension from him. I am running Deaver +3 with only 1 spare and nothing else in bed at present. Ride is very nice.
It works but it is so much easier to load widely available map data straight into a tablet. Lowrance doesn't play well with others and the tiny memory card (capacity) isn't the best.
This is how I feel as well. Sold my Lowrance and use Ipad. Will purchase another Lowrance when I get to run with R.E. Until then the Ipad is easier and useful for other things. As are Android tablets for that matter.
Few things I would wonder about: Like Joe said how could you mount it. What kind of capacity could you get. Wind noise could be a concern as well. The idea of easily mountable solution to haul light but bulky items is never a bad idea. Even with only 1 spare in the bed I run out of room...
You can pm DIRTYFUN on here or contact XRD on Facebook for a quote. I know it was reasonable for everything.
I have customized mine a bit and plan to keep changing it around as my needs change. As far as removing the rack I leave the bones of mine in place all the time. Still leaves...
Crystal is great and talking to her gets you in touch with other people at Ford that understand customer service. Lots of people talk about customer service. She gets in touch with people that know what it means and follow through like their lives depend on it. I have a good relationship with...
You don't have to be running chase to come around corners and be looking at the grill of the Raptor in front of you. Just saying, I saw a good amount of the front end of someone's truck this year, lol. Then there was the time all I could see was part of the roof. Good times.
You can't get rid of me that easy. There aren't very many red Raptors out there. Gotta represent.
Actually you could get rid of me. Just not without pissing and moaning on my part.
:ROFLJest:
You forgot something RW. "I know how to drive a truck asshole" That is a requirement for proper support trucks. Still probably my favorite radio quote.
The rear bumper bothered you guys a lot more than me. Hell I blew the top off that thing and bolted it back on way before that. One of...
Nice video. Jumping is the best part of Silver Lake dunes. Still wish I found the guy flying a drone the first time I got too much air coming over test hill. Would have liked to see that video.
Sounds like I may not get into a third SnoBall. First two were good.
Tires are a fun discussion. Ran stock the first year and they did fine. First year didn't have nearly as deep of snow as this year did. I ran Nitto Terra Grapplers this year. On the way there on mildly wet highway I managed to...
I run the XRD bed rack also. Love it and highly recommend it.
I modified the spare carrier myself. XRD is coming out with a newer version very soon too.
In the end you run the risk of being sued no matter the circumstances or modifications you have done to the truck. Depends on the other party involved and how much they view an accident with someone as a chance for a money grab. We carry a huge personal liability policy just in case too. Our...
