Off road (all types mild to wild) have been tested by Big Blue with your setup. He has done enough testing if there was an issue he would have found it. Have been considering changing to that cover as well.

Have to look at my notes I left on desk at work to verify exact number but they price matched Tirerack. Was somewhere just over $1250 mounted, balanced etc. Plus a $70 rebate. Service writer who did price match didn't add in shipping cost to the match so I come out ahead at dealer.

Giving the dealer until first part of the week then saying screw it and ordering them or picking them up in Chicago myself.

Mine has issues steering when stopped and at low speed. Can't turn past about 18 degrees without rolling. Low speed steering is also problematic.

That sucks hope they get it fixed soon. Mine is having steering issues too if it makes you feel any better.

Thanks all. Was trying to get dealer to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Truck needs to go in for steering issue anyway. Dealer price matches so they ended up cheaper because they give a $70 rebate on 4 tire purchase on top of price match.

Received my ramps yesterday as well.

Those are awesome lights but I personally would rather stick with an led bar there and put the pods on hood mounts. The grill blocks light anyway and I would want to maximize the range by mounting them higher. Good luck and post pictures when you get them mounted.

I have heard good things about that winch. Like Yukon I run Recon 10,500lb winch. Have used it in some rather tough extractions. No complaints with it. I like the synthetic cable because if a winch line fails at least it won't kill anyone.

If they run out of parts there is always the option of having custom flaps made that fit the mounts. Buddy of mine had some made to replace the originals.

Yukon I will bring along my stock tie rods in case anyone needs them. Always have spare serpentine belt and fluids, muffler strapping material. Plus even more recovery gear than last year.

Looks like it handles very well. Have you run that section prior to upgrading? Just curious what type of speeds you would run through there with stock suspension or basic 3.0 upgrades. Clearly not as fast but wondering how big of a leap ahead this setup is.

I hope to have it installed. Going to try to stop by a local shop that does installation for emergency vehicles and ask some questions first. If they are willing might have them install it. Mounting location and functionality are my main concerns. The unit can control up to 2 accessories but...

As a participant I can tell you I hope the organizers of the big events make a profit. If they didn't the headaches of organizing would drive them to stop putting on events. As is all the business run events donate tons of money to good causes which is awesome. The other non-profit runs end up...
