I can agree with your points Smurf. Although altering the a/f ratio and increasing boost to the point of engine failure would absolutely be the signs of a terrible tune that no reputable tuning company (5Star for example) would let their client drive away with. Just wouldn’t happen. Reputable...
My first post was literally a direct link to the act itself. Not sure how it’s blind advice when it’s in writing.
Here’s a PSA: Buy a real tune from a reputable company who actually data logs. Properly dial in your truck and you will never have an issue. Know your rights under the...
First of all, Stage 3 Motorsports is not a tuning company. Second, they are selling that warranty to consumers you don’t know about the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Third, you can literally purchase insurance on anything. If you believe tuning insurance exists solely for the chance of losing your...
Your information is wrong. My information cost no one anything. True datalogged tunes are 100% safe in every way. If you buy a canned tune, That’s a different story. A true tune isn’t expensive and is designed to be custom calibrated for your engine creating safe and effective power increases...
If you are even considering the pedal commander, spend the money on a tune instead. Pedal commander only changes the sensitivity of the throttle. Sport mode changes sensitivity and shifting.
There is no BCE module.
Any audio functions will be under the ACM-Audio Control Module. There is a specific tab in the spreadsheet for B&O systems.

Here’s a link to my sound deadening album. I don’t show the acoustical foam but here is the link to what I use. Cut it into 4x5 squares and stick it inside the door. It helps with resonance inside the door...
1. No, not worth it.
2. More than (1) 10 and you will overpower the rest of the stock system.
3. Second Skin is significantly better than dynamite. You will also want acoustical foam inside the doors and closed cell foam in between the door and door panel.
Forget the center channel. It’s a left right blend, not a true center. It is only there to make up for the poor output of the oem system. It creates the illusion that there is a dash wide sound stage but it does a poor job at it. Save your money on the center and leave it alone.
For the door...
Yes, absolutely. Replacing the front speakers with a good set of components will make a drastic difference. Not sure of your budget but a great middle of the road/higher end choice would be the Morel Tempo Ultra’s. Phenomenal speakers.
Let’s be real, a Porsche is also comprised of plastic and aluminum pieces. Compared to a true SQL built system, the bermiester falls short. Coax in the doors absolutely skew the sound stage. If your expectations are to just “improve” with coax, then your reference point of what sounds good is...
A good set of components to replace the midbass in the door and tweeter in the a-pillar. Don’t put coax, two way, three way, etc in the door. Replacing the stock speakers with good components will make a drastic difference. Output won’t change a whole lot but sound quality will.
Exactly. Just because you are famous doesn’t mean you are always obligated to build some one off, custom machine. This truck is realistic. You can go buy most of these parts. It’s nice to see a high end build that literally anyone can attain.
Huh? It’s not any more problematic compared to the ecoboost. Some don’t have problems, some do. But that’s all manufacturers. If your opinion is based on what you see online in the forums, there’s a big world out there with plenty of problem free trucks.
