I use the scosche magic mount in all my vehicles, I've been using it for three years in my work rig on some rough ass railroad right of ways and the phone has never hit the floor.

I am wiring some LED lights on my Dads Ram 3500. His truck came equipped with aux switches but they are just powered switches with no fuses or relays. I am building a fuse block and relay panel for all 5 switches, my question is do I need to add an inline fuse between the relay and the lights...
I will reiterate, not bare metal... painted and clear coated. There are many reasons one may not want the appliqué, but this should not be one of them.
Really no expertise at all, actually could be totally wrong. I just don't see any chance of the tailgate rotting, it's not raw metal under there it's painted and clear coated. Guess time will tell.
