Pulled some stuff out of it before I drop it off for cam phaser TSB, valve cover TSB, and diagnosis of some weird whistle that i have from the rear end from 48-52 MPH while my foot's on the gas.
Probably not. Most bed covers fit 2015-2020 F150 and then the 2021 is separate. I'm sure there's subtle changes, but it might still work since it sits on top of the rails.
Appreciate it. Going to take it in for the TSB, and also heard that telltale rattle this afternoon when I started it up to go home from work. So guess cam phasers are in my future.
It’s bizarre but I’m sure there’s an explanation for it. Hoping someone with more knowledge has an idea. I’m not entirely convinced its not a turbo issue. Never happened in my last gen2 but I can’t remember ever idling for an hour.
I’m gonna hold off for now, drove it another 400 miles home, and around 50 today. No sign of smoke, burning oil smell, or any codes. Truck ran great. I’m going to change the oil next week. Hoping @FordTechOne has an opinion on it.
Started my truck after it had been sitting for about 9 hours. Had driven about 400 miles on a trip two days earlier. Started it and got hammered with blue smoke billowing out of the driver’s side exhaust. Shut it down, checked for oil leaks, no signs of a drip. Started it up again and had blue...
I use soap and water after I hit the tires with @AdamsPolishes tire and rubber cleaner. My truck doesn’t make much dust at all, no powerful cleaner needed.
Taken off at 800 miles to go back to BFG. Dealer put these on before I bought the truck, I guess because they were cheap and it needed new tires. Snowflake rated, D load. Good road manners, quiet and did well in the one snowfall I had them in.
$300 picked up in 07435
2 pounds per tire. But you also bump to a 3 ply sidewall instead of a 2 ply. If you off-road it can matter, and with a 17” rim that’s a major part of where the mush on curves comes from. I don’t think you give up anything going to an E load on these trucks.
The C feel mushy in corners, and give me roll while the E firm up the ride and it feels more planted for me. I've had E on all my trucks and prefer the ride. Also can't get white letters in a C........
