Is there a reason COTUS works for some but not others. My truck has finished production but nothing pops up. Ive tried some built VINs and nothing pops up either.
Recieved an update from FP that my truck was built and was sent "off-site" for bedliner. I thought the factory bedliner was done in house and not outsourced.
Anyways I got a ETA of Sept. 23-Sept. 28.
Fingers crossed
It's not necessarily people hounding me all the time about it. I keep it to myself to the most part since me owning the truck is a personal thing and not just a boast. It's just usually when it comes up the person has something negative to say like "man I don't know why anyone would spend over...
Maybe the demographic in my area is a part of it as well. I live in the St. Pete/Tampa/Clearwater area which is largely left leaning especially in the area I live in which is considered the arts district. So it's possibly just a bunch of virtue signalling wet blankets around me.
Fair amount of ball busting doesn't bother me. If my friends didn't talk crap from time to time I would know they weren't my friends anymore haha.
Its more coworkers, associates, people at the pub, etc.
I guess I just found it odd how this truck specifically causes people to roll their eyes...
Fair point. Maybe I am a victim of waiting around for it to deliver haha. Too much time to think.
Im sure once I drive it home I wont give a crap what other peoples opinions are about my truck.
The last month or so after placing my order for a Raptor I have realized how negative people can be about making a personal, albeit emotional, decision I have put a lot of thought into.
I have owned my 2008 Base Model Tundra for 10 years while working my way through college and saving money for...
So is the build date the actual "assembly start date" or the "birth date" as in the day the build is finalized? From reading through forums it seems to be a question of debate.
I just checked my order date and it was 8/4. I received my VIN on 08/25 for a build start of 9/8 which i confirmed with Ford. My order is a SCAB w/ CF, moonroof, stock wheels, spray in bedliner.
Was able to pull my window sticker over the weekend using...
When I ordered my 2018 in August they said the beadlocks and carbon fiber were not a guarantee. I know the beadlocks are different for 2019 but the CF might be backed from a supply chain shortage.
I ordered sometime in early August. Im not on the Ford website. I used the link on the first page of this thread to pull up my window sticker with my VIN.
I know there has been talk that the window sticker service doesn't work anymore but I was just able to pull my window sticker.
Build date of 09/08/2018! Ready to start ramping some speed bumps!
I really appreciate the help.
I measured my bikes reach, chainstay, and wheel radius and it comes out to 48-50 inches. So I'm about 10 inches too ling to fit the bike in with the cover down.
Guess I'll be going with the x4
I appreciate the feedback. I would be 100% for the Mx4 if I knew I could fold it into the last 3rd and still put my bike in the back. Unfortunately I can't find measurements on the tonneau when it's folded up. I have a pretty big mountain bike a 73 inches wheel to wheel. I don't know anyone with...
I've been flip floping between this and the revolver x4. They are about the same price.
The Mx4 seems more secure, waterproof, and solid but I don't like the idea of having no visibility if I need the bed.
The revolver x4 is better for visibility but im afraid of it rattling, less waterproof...
Was hoping for the black or grey. Not sure if bronze is my thing but haven't seen it in person. I have a lead foot SCAB coming in.
If the price is right I could be tempted to change my mind. Shoot me a PM if you got a $$$ in mind.
3 quick questions:
- Do you have a side photo of these wheels on a leadfoot grey?
- Is there a unedited photo of the bronze? If not, could you let me know if its a polished bronze?
- Are you still on schedule to ship by the end of the month?
