You sound exactly like the person Hookem is talking about. Stop being bitter and move on. Most of us who bought an R can afford them and aren't concerned with trade in value.
This weekend about 360 miles round trip on flat land I got 13.5-14, but some of that is 70mph interstate so I'm doing 80 and when you go that fast its almost as bad as city driving, but its that way on all my other cars too. I'm sure if I kept it 70 and below I would have gotten 15
Nah. Disagree with that completely. It's actually a pretty plain looking truck. Mine is white, not code orange... Looks like every other work truck on the road. It is a bad ass truck and deserves some attention. But its all just opinions so it's a moot point right?
I picked up an R that someone else ordered and walked away from. They ordered it without the graphics and I thought it would be fine, but I want the graphics now. My ford dealer was able to find part numbers for the bedside graphics, but they said they need a VIN number from a truck that was...
It is simply your preference. They are both great trucks. I have a 19 raptor and a 23 R. It took so long to find the R that I considered a TRX, but you're not getting one of those for $90k. The one I looked at was $123k and they had 4 left from the 6 they just got. This was about 6 weeks...
Yeah, I've contacted over 50 dealers in the past 2 weeks. Good luck. I'm just trying to be helpful. Please go discuss your pricing concerns on another thread.
I've contacted over 50 dealers and found a number of R's. I have a deposit down on two of them and I'm walking away from one. It is a loaded black for $141k. The dealer is in the south. I have no desire to be in the middle. I will just introduce you to the dealer to take my place if you...
I'm not familiar with Manheim but you could drive away in an R today for less than $158. I've been doing my homework and reached out to over 50 dealers so far. I'm taking my time and finding what I want. When I'm done I don't mind sharing the ones I found, but they may be gone by then.
I am talking to a dealer who says they have an order in for an R and an allocation for it to get built. I have a copy of the order sheet that says it was ordered on 6/29 and I have an order number on that sheet. The dealer is telling me that they have been told it should go into production the...
A few weeks ago I reached out to probably 25 dealers through AT showing R's in stock or on the way. Every one of them responded that it was a customer order so it was not on the market. Why even put them on AT then??
This truck was probably ordered a year ago and that was before dealers were marking trucks up $50k. Like I said, I'm making assumptions but I bet when that truck finally arrived they told the original buyer he had to cough up an extra $50k or let it go. That's when the original buyer would...
Yeah, I saw the interview with the Ford CEO. I don't see why it would be difficult for Ford to do. I ordered my bronco online directly from Ford very early on. The dealer just took delivery of it and had me sign papers. Paid exactly what Ford quoted when ordered online plus tax, tag, etc. It...
agreed and I'm a capitalist. I'm probably making assumptions but I feel like they are trying to screw the OG buyer and thats bad business. Hence why I'm posting it
Maybe there is already a thread for this but I got this email today. They probably sold it to the original order guy at MSRP and now realize they can get a lot more than that.
I ordered my bronco directly through Ford when the order banks opened. They assigned a local dealer a few months later. Don't know why they couldn't do it with the Raptor. Only my experience.
