Actually did it yesterday, but I pulled the ECU and sent it to COBB to be unlocked. Gen 3 is out of commission and on garage restriction for a couple days.

Just for the sake of others that are going to pull theirs, it almost felt as though there were additional clips on the bottom holding both sides. I had the top clips completely cleared and the bottom was holding on tight. :) A little extra force and leverage and it finally gave in.

Well, I was too impatient to wait till Monday to ship my ECU. I was teleworking today and decided to pull the ECU for lunch and drop it off at the UPSStore. Mission complete. However, I am not gonna lie... that cover just about kicked my arse. I didn't expect it to be that much of a pain...

Got my COBB box yesterday. I will likely pull the ECU on Sunday and drop it to UPS on Monday morning. I am thinking that I will play with the 91 tune for a while and then venture into the E50 realm...

Reminds me of the thread on one of the firearm forums I am on... guys wife got all excited seeing the "Frog Lube" packaging... until she realized it was gun cleaning supplies. ;)
