Disappointing that these were marketed as SAE from the beginning. I don’t see how this new lense will not decrease the output, but I’ll reserve judgement until receiving the new lens and trying it.
It was originally advertised as 150% brighter than oem fogs, with this new lens will that still...
Please update us on the outcome. I am afraid to take my truck to any ford dealer for service, the experience sucks every time. I am amazed this subpar work continues to happen
So the SAE lights are not compliant now? Are they going to need to reduce the output or lumens? What about people who already bought them?
If they reduce power I don’t think I’d want them anymore, they make just enough now as it is
Is that why the tundra has a higher resale than the F-150? I’m not arguing that the Raptor is in a league of its own, it’s an amazing truck! the quality of service is just not there comparing to Toyota and I’ve tried multiple dealers. This has been my experience thus far
I just re configured my fog pocket lights. Went with SAE amber, squadron pro WC, and squadron pro driving combo.
I think more width than distance is better IMO
I came from Toyota, had a Tundra for 10 years. I’ve almost run out of local Ford dealers to take my truck to, the experience has been that bad.
Toyota is light years ahead in service quality and experience.
If the Raptor didn’t exist I’d be back in a Toyota or Lexus no question
Nice work! Why the wide cornering on the inside and not the combo? Wouldn’t you lose more light there due to the bumper? I’m about to do something similar but was going to do combo on inside and wide cornering in the middle.
I just received a letter from Ford for a frozen door latch customer satisfaction program just came out this October.
I did have frozen door latches a few times on my 2018 screw last winter.
anyone have this done yet? Does it fix it?
Thanks
