I mean I get that it’s inconvenient and probably not ideal but renting a car isn’t all that hard if you’re in a pinch. They should do it for you, so if you’re within the warranty go get a car and call Ford customer service with the bill.
A V8 SCAB on 37’s would be cool but not for 80-90k. At least not for me. I bought my ‘17 used for 50. Might get that back or at least close but that’s only halfway there. The new interior is nice but that’s bonkers money on a truck even if you have it laying around.
Dumb question maybe but what’s the underside of the hood look like. A hard right turn will make the motor shift left and if I’m looking at that pic right, the left side of the highest part of the cover is what’s damaged.
Those that are allowed to fly the flag are responsible for upholding the image. I understand @FordTechOne ‘s point but it’s still Ford’s responsibility to protect their brand.
My 2017 SCAB has a normal sunroof. It has started making a loud thunk when you open it. I’ve been told on here that it’s the same problem as the pano. Sticky seals and if you let it go long enough the same cheap plastic pieces will break. Dunno how accurate it is but I’ll check it out after the...
I have seen this nonsense too. It’s sprinkled throughout the phaser threads. If it’s not in the manual then don’t bother.
If Ford thought priming the oil pump was necessary every time you start the truck it would be in the manual and also would have a big honkin yellow sticker on the dash.
So what part of that means that something can’t be twisted? Once I knew it wasn’t the one piece thing that most cars have, I’m out of my element. Maybe ‘the cam is twisted’ just means one of those other pieces has let loose? Is that super out of the question too?
I have a SCAB and looked long and hard for it. I’ve never had a truck before so the extra size was really something I didn’t want to deal with. After driving it for over a year I don’t think a SCREW would be all that hard to live with. And having the kids seats farther back that they’re not...
I love the thing. Looked at gen 1 also but people were asking mid 40’s for a 2014 scab with 30-40k miles at the time so I just put the extra few bucks into a much more updated truck. V6/V8 isn’t something I care about when the former has so much more oomf anyway.
This is much better stated than I could’ve put it but I agree. The only way it was ‘twisted’ was if it started that way. 58k road miles says otherwise. Somebody done fucked it up.
