If your son can hang tell em he’s 14. He doesn’t have an ID they can check. Kinda risky if something happens I guess but probably should delete this thread if you go that route lol.
I’m not expecting anything in particular. They just consistently set the tire pressure at 40 psi. This is high for the vehicle and way higher than I run. I went for an inspection. Didn’t ask them to top off anything.
There’s a thread in the Exterior section with a few pics. They look great. I’d probably try to remove the SVT red logo from the ring but that’s just me. Or I’d say I’m gonna and never get to it.
I’ve made that mistake more than once. Now I’m approaching my mid 40’s and don’t have the time or desire to dump hours and hours of busted knuckles making my vehicle better and then worse. One lesson I’ve learned is that I love stock suspensions. Other than swaybar and subframe bushings my CTSV...
I’m also just fine if it f’s something up and I have to pay to fix it. It’s not my only ride and I’m not making payments or stretched out financially just to have the thing. Examine your own situation honestly and make a good decision. If you’re into $800 a month payments that you sometimes...
I went with a 100k 8yr for my 2017 right before the 3 yr ran out last year. I’m just past 30 and have only put 4k/yr on my vehicles combined for the last several years but am glad I got the coverage I did. Just got a new job with a 15 mile commute instead of the combo 2mile or work from home...
That’s pretty cool! Congrats. Let us know how much better it really is. On paper it doesn’t look like much but I bet there are a lot of little improvements.
Suspension and wheels shouldn’t affect powertrain. I guess the 37’s could affect the transmission but there aren’t a lot of 10 speeds with mechanical failures that I know of.
My truck smells like a wet dog after a hard rain but I can’t feel any wetness in the carpets. The rear doors (SCAB) do fill with water and drain when you open them. I park on an incline so I think the forward drain holes are a little clogged. Been meaning to poke them out and open them up a...
I believe @FordTechOne said there’s a warranty extension for this issue. Not sure the mileage but I think you have some recourse. If it’s not out yet, it won’t hurt the truck to leave it until the extension is applied to your truck.
My SCAB gets 14.5 mpg tooling around my neighborhood and just pulled 19 on a highway road trip with the family at 90 degrees outside. I bet the TRX gets half that lol.
