None of the big 3 or Toyota dealers around here have much inventory for new trucks. The nearest Ford dealer has one 22 F150 and no Super Duties. Their sister (Ram) dealer across the street has one 2021 Ram 1500 and 3 2022 Ram 2500s. Neither of the half tons are very desirable. When something...
I haven't seen a TRX or a Gen3 Raptor on the dealer lots around here. I've only seen 3 TRXs and 2 Gen3 Raptors on the road. They are both scarce in this neck of the woods.
I have the lightning blue Yeti I got from badbowtie back in 2018 when I had my 2017. I wish he was still making them so I could get one to match my 2020.
I like gloss primer grey, but work truck white looks good as well.
There's a work truck white Gen1 around here that I usually meet on the road a few times a week.
Being old and conservative I don't really care for bronze wheels on Raptors. With the body color plus the grey bumpers and flares, the bronze wheels makes it 3 tone which looks too busy to an old conservative dude.
I wouldn't go with Whipple if it's like the gen2 tune. The tune itself is ok but on the gen2 they have your stock tune so you if you want to swap back to stock you have to contact them and they send it to you. Knowing my luck I'd need it after hours or on the weekend when they aren't open.
I couldn't find any for Huskys when I had my 2017 so I trimmed a little off some that were made for Weathertechs. I'm running the same Husky X-Act Contours in my 2020 ans still haven't found any gel coat Raptor logos for Huskys.
Avalanche is going to be a color option on the 2023 F150 Rattler.
I don't care much for the color but it would make a lot of others happy if it was an option on the 2023 Raptor as well.
Supply isn't even close to keeping up with demand so it is what it is. I've never paid ADM but I don't blame anyone that does in the current market. When I ordered my 2017 it took 6 months to get it. When I ordered my 2020 it took 5 months to get it. If you order one now there's no guarantee...
I bet the asking price ($57K) on the black 800A is more than the original MSRP. When I ordered my 2017 800A SCAB the base price was about $49K and I checked the boxes for a few stand alone options which brought the MSRP up to $52.5K.....then add about $1500 to the base price increase from 2017...
You will find a gen 3 at the price point you want when the gen 4's are out.
I can order one for MSRP Monday morning when my usual dealer opens, but I won't pay $70K for a base model even though the new base model has almost everything the 801A used to have, aaaand I wouldn't see it for 6...
If it's not leaking now I wouldn't worry about it but if it is leaking that would be a deal breaker. I put 42K miles on my 2017 and it never leaked but many others have.
