Thats really odd that your dealer does that. Considering I personally ordered a scab. But estimates I have read online have less than 10 percent of custom orders being scabs.
I ended up finding a dealer 2 hours away from me to do an MSRP sale.
I just emailed a ton of dealerships contact me pages and one finally got back to me.
Most super busy cities were 5k to 20k over. I said no thanks and kept on emailing other dealers.
I was told that by 40 dealers over the last few days. I finally found one about 2 hours south of me.
I just emailed a literal shit ton of dealers on their contact me pages.
If their conversation started with "This will be a limited production vehicle"
Or
"all of the dealerships in this...
I have never bought a new vehicle in my life before, especially as one highly wanted as a 2017 Raptor.
My question is, what is the easiest way to find a local allocation being sold at MSRP? Just cold calling dealerships? Have a friend on the inside or what? Thanks for everyones help.
