I love the inherent sewing machine smoothness of an inline 6 but the TT Hurricane is still unproven.
It also uses on less cylinder head, exhaust manifold, head gasket, etc. for simplicity.
It’s why they earned the name stealerships. The old school business model needs to be buried ASAP.
Tesla and Rivian are leading the way with direct sales. It’s the future, not the past. New car franchise dealerships are hating it.
I believe the front bumper flexes up and down during driving, hence the rubbing.
Also, try this dryer sheet hack to remove stubborn bugs from the front end…
Demand for the TT V6 Raptor is still very high.
After much searching I found a dealer to accept my 2024 35“ Raptor order at MSRP. The dealership stopped accepting orders soon after I placed my custom order as they have fulfilled their estimated 2024 allocations already.
It’s too late in the year to consider a 2023 UNLESS you get an amazing deal on one.
Tip: Try to negotiate in person about 1-hour before they close on October 31st, the last day of the month. A hungry dealer will bite, especially if it’s been a slow month.
Congrats!
That 2nd generation motor gets phenomenal fuel mileage. GM made a lot of improvements to the 2023 L70 Duramax inline 6 diesel.
“Chevy officials say the second-generation L70 turbodiesel is being assembled at GM's Engine Operations in Flint, Michigan, and delivers a 10-percent...
Ford does not release F150 Raptor numbers but had this to say when the GEN3 debut:
"F-150 Raptor has eclipsed the sales of other well-known performance icons. Over the last four years (2017-2020), the previous-generation Raptor cumulatively outsold Porsche’s entire lineup of sports cars and...
I placed my V6 Raptor order last week for MSRP with price protection. You KNOW that Ford will have another Raptor price increase in 3-6 months.
All I have is an order summary sheet as well. From what the dealer said 2024 Raptor production won’t begin until Q1 2024.
Until supply catches up to demand I don’t see that happening anytime soon. F150 Raptor manufacturing is still very limited and customer demand is still off the hook.
The F150 Raptor is the widest, baddest 1/2 ton pickup on the market with virtually zero competition. The 2024 TRX is rumored to...
From what I have read 2024 Raptors won’t start production until early next year. No production equals no allocations. He will contact his buyers once Ford assigns a VIN number to the allocation.
Ryan said he will stop taking 2024 customer orders when he hits 20 as his dealership gets around...
