I was getting worried about my memory...and I have zero plans to delete the res...I love it and still thank you for finding this solution. Exactly the sound I wanted!
Interesting...I thought I discovered while researching the exhausts the muffler is the same muffler in the full MF kit...that has the res delete and new tail pipes. Do you know if that is correct? I have not heard the rasp in the full on kits I have seen on the Internet?
I love the sound...it...
I think he is talking about the magnaflow catback system. I believe the actual muffler is the same but the catback deletes the stock resonator and replaces the tail pipes.
I would think removing the stock resonator would increase the volume quite a bit.

That is the issue living in a smaller town...went to all 4 parts stores and none had the band style clamp just the u-bolt type. Luckily a friend of mine had one leftover from one of his exhaust projects and he dropped it off...Amazon will have one here tomorrow but I went ahead and installed...
You can see the smaller clamp fits inside the larger. And the different part numbers where one is a part number and the other just the measurement which 69.9mm to inches is 2.75 and the ID of the exhaust is 3”.

I see why you can not re-use the stock clamp because they are welded on! LOL!
But, sadly, Magnaflow sent the wrong clamp...one is correct but the other is AccuSeal 69.9mm and according to their site is for a 2 3/4" joint and will not work on a 3" pipe although I did try hard before coming in...
No I am good I didn’t understand why you would use the MF clamps versus reusing the stock clamps because there are already clamps in that location right? Maybe the mf clamps are better or somehow differ from the stock ones. I’ll figure it out.
I crawled under to take a look and spray some...
Done...did that when I returned from the drive but great advice. I am guessing the included instructions are seriously wrong and they just copied the cat-back instructions as it has you removing both mufflers...and what did you use the clamps for? Can't you just reuse the stock clamps? The...
I am using an iPhone 11 Pro with Decibel Pro app and Niosh app with microphone pointed at the trailer hitch opening about waist high 10' from rear of truck centered...
Cold Start:
STOCK: Pro Decibel app Cold start outside 82.7 Max and 77.6 Avg

Awesome! Thank you...couple quick questions:
I assume the cruising measurements are windows up? Do you have the interior audio exhaust sound on or off through Forscan?
Exterior measurements I assume the 10' back is you in center of truck equidistant from each exhaust opening? Also, is the...
Bedrug padding is fantastic for when you are in the bed or your stuff...and echo above helps to keep things from sliding around and honestly adds this amazing finished look to the truck bed. Everyone that sees mine thinks it looks amazing...but, I have a love / hate relationship with mine...
Nice! I ended up building my own harness and did not realize BD had a Raptor specific LP harness...good information. I put LP4s on my A-pillars and they are pretty big to me...bordering on too big. I have not seen the LP6 in person but if you are happy that is all that matters. The LP4 put...
@gopher870 so glad you got it figured out and everything is working properly now...enjoy your lights and that Phew feeling it was just a fuse and not something bigger! A big thanks to some of the other installs horror stories, not yours, but others I read before I did my lights I went ahead and...
Great vid thank you for posting!
I wonder with the Alpha RX lights how often you get flashed by other drivers...that looks like an enormous amount of light output on Low beam.
Yes...if my teenage daughter will help me post a video on here! haahaa!
I actually would like to run the decibel meter on my phone, so not professional by any means, stock exhaust at startup, maybe X rpm and compare to the MF. In all the vids that is the thing you really can not tell how...
Has anyone tried the Evans products in the Raptor?
I have had tremendous luck with them in RZR / TRX450R and F350 PS Diesel applications...really helped to keep them much cooler.

Great question and I have the same one...trying to think through it, everyone states the aftermarket shackles are better so plus there in twist / quality and a taller spring should be a little longer and / or have a greater "bend" or arch to it which can be good or bad as it typically increases...
Just ordered from @Nick@Apollo-Optics I think this is exactly the sound I am looking for. Thank you again for taking the time / effort to post...@tomcruise
Apologies, I am slower than most, but I didn't follow this exactly...did you wire the ARB plug to the battery in the engine compartment or did you install a separate battery somewhere? If you are using the regular battery the draw is the same as both the ARB port and the stock port are tied to...
