Very Easy. Spray paint (see below). I just removed the shrink wrap and then sanded with pretty fine sandpaper to scuff the surface for paint adherence. Then spray painted per instructions (2 light coats then one moderate coat), let it cure for a week. I repeated the same process with the...
Yeah, it’s a pretty rough life:
Cutbow hybrids, Kokanee and Perch main players in our lake. I tend to fly fish elsewhere (I’m more of a River rat for fishing) but occasionally get out on my paddle board in the evenings and pick off a few.
Ha! I might be in my 50’s but I’m pretty juvenile so I’m keepin em. My wife doesn’t dig em but she thinks they fit me....not sure what kinda put-down that is but I’m sure it is one.
Thought I’d start a thread for posting some of the members favorite mods and maybe “bling” mods or unique mods that members are proud of. Whatever you think others might find interesting or cool. And if you have anything kinda unique or that you “made-up”, by all means, put it here! Show off...
2019; Eibachs installed 3/2020. Initially slightly nose up; now dead level. Ride better than stock.
BTW, good luck finding someone that regrets putting Eibachs on. They’re few and far between. Probably the best testament to these is the fact that 99+% of members who have em love em.
Couldn’t agree more. In my 50’s and I got this hot little red number and put B pillar appliqués with claw-marks...and a whole bunch of mostly unnecessary but fun mods or bling. Couldn’t be any more juvenile than that, but I love it that way!!!
Thanks; looks like I have to finish the trailer setting process then go in and deactivate since the screen I have that is not a choice. Appreciate the help.
A few weeks ago, the wife bought a little travel trailer. Went to back it up and thought “hey, this thing has the fancy shmanzy back up gizmo... I ought to use it”. Well, I was already hooked up and only had to back it into a pretty easy spot so 1/2 way through set-up, I bailed and just backed...
Highly recommend a tailgate seal for anyone with a Tonneau cover. Keeps the crap out and cheap and easy to install. I got the ESI product which seems good but there are others:

Then ya gotta get this:

And this isn’t all that expensive...
The more rigid plastics are more prone to cracking and also have more failure in weather extremes. Actually don’t know how they compare to RocBlox; for all I know they may be just as good at 1/2 the price. Went with the RA’s as literally my first mod cuz they provide good coverage, have more...
Nicely done OF...haven’t been on here in a while (alas, too much time fly-fishing) so was surprising and fun to finally see your Beast in all it’s glory. Congrats and nicely done...so far. You have thousands more to spend and I can’t wait to see each and every new mod!!!! Will be nice to...
Just personally don’t see how spending a bunch of money to match the fenders to the truck color (which Ford could have EASILY done since they do it on literally millions of F150’s but didn’t...) which make it look more like a run-of-the-mill stock f150 is “bad ass”. Not saying it looks bad at...
Had to be one of the more frustrating times. I got all my lights hooked up to, you guessed it, the pass-thru wires. Was sure I had the right set, but NO. Lots of stories in these threads of a bunch of pretty bright people fumbling around playing trial and error. Really, how hard would it be...
Someone has to be a naysayer... yet I do ascribe to “to each their own”. But just gotta say, one of the distinguishing features of the Raptor, which also gives it that aggressive width is the contrasting fenders. Matching fenders seem to shout “stock F150” like no other mod. Not saying it...
There was a thread a while back discussing lug nuts. Consensus from that thread was definitely get rid of the stocks.
A few folks have had a couple issues with the Gorilla’s which basically came in a close 2nd. One member mentioned one of his Gorillas cracking, and another had a minor issue...
