Beautiful truck indeed, howverThe market will indicate the value and if it has not sold, it may be an indicator that the price has to be lowered.
I took delivery of my 23 raptor for msrp,
I have a feeling many dealers will be doing the same, or even discounting the Biden economy gets worse...
I’d love to see some pics of them installed with detailed images of different angles of the vehicle, with the wheels straight, to determine if in fact they are less preload than the 1.5” perch collars.
thank you for the more eloquent explanation of what I have been saying. I am glad I am not the only one that has demonstrated that a 1.5" lift collar (3/4" thick) yields an undesirable ride and shock topping out harshly when quick down travel is created.
I have no experience with anything that...
I really think that 1.5" makes the Gen 3 sit too high in the front, making it sit higher than the rear in a lot of photos I've seen. That and even though it is only about 1/8" less preload, it would ride softer than the bottom perches that lift 1.5".
You are correct, however it is about 1/8" preload, and that is not something that would be unnoticed with regard to ride quality either. Not as significant, but most certainly significant.
1/4" of preload would result in a significant difference in ride. Enough so that I threw out my SVC collars on my Gen2 and upgraded to King coilovers. Preload collars do create a significantly stiffer ride and also with the added tension on the spring and less shock downtravel, it causes the...
Yes, less preload will mean the shock will not top out and be more within its design travel range. Nothing would be better than a brand new set of coilers, but this is as good as you are going to get short of that.
Yes it is. Less preload equals smoother ride. It lifts 1.25” instead of a minimum of 1.5” like a collar does so you won’t have stupid looking nose high look.
I’ll buy a set as soon as they are released. All the perch collars lift too much. I am looking for 1” - 1.25” max as to not achieve the retarded reverse rake look.
I’ve purchased too many cars for them to be audacious enough to try and shove an ADM up my ass. They also screw you for a $1000 doc fee. That’s always a fight.
I ordered mine 18 months ago, never got my 21’, they rolled it into a 22’ and still no damn truck. This is from Team ford in Las Vegas who also has the largest allocation in the country apparently.
did this ever sell, if so it should be deleted. I actually tried to buy it several months back but the seller kept moving the goal post on me with price. Didn’t appease me too well so I walked.
Looks a smidge low in the back. I would prefer the front to be 1/4” - 1/2” lower so it doesn’t have the saggy *** syndrome and you can put more than a gallon of milk in the bed without looking like a dysfunctional brodozer.
****, you really say that. 90% of the modified trucks you see out there are horribly done. Roller skate wheels, raptors with 20s, you get the point. Someone will be sure to yank them off and replace with some Pep Boys special. I promise.
