Because it is freezing upon startup or remaining black, I don't think it is a phone issue. The phone is not connected right when you start the vehicle. Your issues are believable because I have seen similar on here before. Sometimes software, sometimes gateway module, sometimes something else...
Agreed. There was a 10 page discussion similar to this back in 2019 on here. At that time, someone had found a Mishimoto clone for cheap. Guess it is Injen's turn right now.
Well he did say a couple times in the clip that he only drives Ford trucks. There's a lot of Rock fanboys and fangirls that will buy a Ford just because of that. It's worth it to Ford to compensate him with a lower price.
If the other driver was at fault, you should be made whole again (New running board and fender flare). No reason to let him off the hook. Now, if insurance decides to go 50/50 due to conflicting stories, I would probably not fix those two items. I doubt there is any issue there other than...
That's a pretty slick design. Utilizing the cupholder makes it a no go for me though. Too bad someone has not made a mount base that utilizes that thin channel between the cupholders and gear shifter on the Gen3's. That area is pretty much useless and could be a good home for a mount...

The funnier thing is that pretty much any of us in a Gen3 could have chosen a TRX if that is what we really wanted. Sometimes, I feel the TRX owners don't get that. Too concerned about "muh power".

I am at 13 weeks right now. I wish the communication with them was as good right now as it was when I ordered the system. Hopefully, it is all worth it.
If you have the piece installed on your truck that you want to replace, why not take it off and have a look at the part number that should be stamped on it? Or, am I missing something?
I can appreciate all of the work to get it functional, but it would be a little weird having a superduty trim piece in a Rap. And, personally, I would go crazy with all of the little bugs that I am sure come with this conversion.
