Already pulled the carpets back took off the side kick panel and sill plate. Then pulled back the carpet for all my water tests. Then put the shop towels down to highlight any wetness
So now the frustration has set in. I like many others have had the dreaded wet carpet in the passenger foot well. So like every problem, I have exhaustively searched the forums and thought I knew why this happens and set out to fix it...
I pull up the WeatherTech mats and they have...
So you can look at a Raptor tire and tell me that it is low by 10lbs? You test your tires EVERY TIME you get in your truck and verify your tires are 100% perfect before you drive. Let me guess, you run nitrogen fill and can tell when the tire is off .5lbs...... Keep fooling yourself. I...
I over pay for my cars to have the engine oil done at the dealer at the short intervals (5000 on turbo motors) because of this. Had a BMW have issues and dealt changes every 5k miles they had zero excuses. The money I saved on that pays for 100 over priced oil changes on every car
The doors windows have wet seals. It keeps a large portion of water out but yea some does get in. You have to make sure you clean the drain holes at the bottom of the doors. If you have a outside or get dirty Raptor they can accumulate dirt and block the drains. I simply take a zip tie...
If I was 7’2 and I had to look at that then I would be mad but that is like rock chips in the inside of the rear wheel wells . It there but do I ever see it or care, not really but it all depends on your OCD
In my Chicago suburb, teslas are as common as Ford F-150. Any one who has one drives like 25-50 miles per day and every place seems to have 1-2 park up front, look at me charge for free chargers. I have had some
say they barely go below 50% ever. So for the suburbanite who wants a...
People need to understand just because it is a Raptor, it is still a F150 which you can buy with rubber floorings and a “cassette player”. Yes it is FORD Performance but that is really the engineering to make it a raptor. Same goes with the 3 series and the ///M3. Guys forget your 100k...
Sounds like you already know what you want to do. I real question is how much did you buy the truck for(cash or loan) vs selling it. You can then figure out if the cost to own or profit to sell is worth it
FYI we don’t have reserve tanks in f150’s. We have one tank which holds 36 gallons. When you use 36 gallons your motor stops running due to no fuel. The tank may have a low spot to have easy access when the fuel is low but that’s it.
If your real question is, “how many miles/gallons...
If it was in fact stolen and it was not reported, my question is why? If your trying to play the “value” game that may backfire really fast.
This is so simple. If you have proof of original ownership, I would contact the police and notify the dealership. Legally a dealership cannot...
You can go on any manufactures “forums” and find similar horror stories. I am a huge BMW guy and track my M3. I have been through BMW’s since 2002 and there is always something on a particular model which is the “be all end all and never buy” issue until you realize nobody complains if the...
Ford already had the truck EVERY truck company wanted since it was released.
Chevy is putting a “serious off road” package out there and we all know the TRX. THe last think ford needed to do is say we have x more horsepower so we are better. No they will put out a product which will...
So we will be seeing 110k to 1??k raptor R’s. How long till people say, “I can build this off the Gen 3 stocker”. YES IT WILL NOT BE A REAL RAPTOR R. but ….. what can you get for a raptor HP stock motor? How much will it cost to get a raptor R “STYLE” motor.
Why do I feel this will...
Plus it all depends on how you drive it. We all know if you drive 500hp cars like it is a Kia then you will get better MPG. Hell when I was tracking my M3, I was 5-6 mpg on the track…. Then on the way home, I was getting 19 mpg cause I was exhausted and driving Mrs daisy. Same goes with...
Gen 2 on highway is 17-19 if you do 65-68. Bump it to 70 you go
to the low 16’s. If you start running 75-80 your mid to low 15’s. 10 k miles this year with cruise control on the same 65mile round trip 6 days a week
I put in 85, use water for wiper fluid, only put in 78% Nitrogen in the tires, 5$(Each) for my wipers and I don’t put more than 10 gallons in the truck at a time to save $$ and weight. Changed the tires to 17” steelies and……. ZERO AC no matter how hot!!!!!
You cannot afford a truck like...
