It doesn’t look as good as spray. I used a brush to touch up my drop shackles and they look like crap, good thing you can’t see them.

I took the deavers apart and had them sandblasted and painted them individually. Think I went through 6 cans and then bought a quart and spray gun to finish the job, rattle cans got expensive.

Steel-it

I painted a bunch of stuff with steel-it including deavers, intercooler brackets, SVC bumpstops. Steel -it is a great product but nothing like linex.

I didn’t want to cut the frame on my new truck either. I wasn’t a fan of any of the bolt on bumpers so I ordered the SVC Baja bumper and intercooler. I made nice clean cuts with the grinder so the frame horns can be welded back on if needed.

I would have extra money to invest if I could quit buying mods for the raptor!

I also fought with trying to get the supplied bolts to work. Went to Home Depot and got longer bolts.

I think it’s possible if you have diligence looking and are willing to make a trip to pick one up. You will be glad you did!

I’d like to know if other raptors have them! My 14 and my 18 didn’t.

The 18 did Not come with eccentric cam.

You may have to have it aligned or recalibrated at the dealer after install. The tech package is a pain.
