40. Had a 2017 that a tree fell on. Now in my 2018 w 55k miles that I have keep another year because I cannot bear to take all the shit off I put on already. Love them!!
+1 on above. I did the +3 HD Deaver and 1.5 in level stayed with 35s to keep it close to spec. Of course this could down a rabbit hole quickly as many have done the +3 front lift and love, it’s all personal preference really
I have the +3 HD Deavers and love them. More “solid” in a good way. Not stiff at all. I keep about 250 pounds in the bed, Bed rack and some tools. Also have the RPG 2.5 bumpstop kit. Have used the long extensions when I have a pile of camping gear and a dead elk in the back a few times for...
If the springs are softened up- says they are- enough that it does not beat you to death on rough roads and will still pull a 8-10k trailer well I might be interested in the 7.3. will it clear 37s stock. Lots of new things on this truck. 10 speed and 4.30 gears are plenty for 37s and 430hp/475tq.
I am just wondering why they have no announcement with orders coming in three weeks, I don’t remember how far out the 17 and 18 details were given out but it seems last minute- They want to get as many 19s sold before the announcements of changes/upgrades I guess. They announced the new...
Just got the new M/T Baja Boss in 35/12.50/17 installed and have put about 200 miles on them. Four wheel parts had a deal for $223 a tire shipped last week, $334 was normal price so I gave them a shot. Previous tires were Cooper STT 315/70/17.
A few things to note, I could not find the...
I have had a 17 and now an 18 that has been a great truck with 40k on it now. But if they come with another more powerful engine option or the terrain color again as others have said, I will be tempted to get one. Hopefully it’s a stand alone engine option if there is one and not something only...
New BFG KM3 Anyone have these yet? I saw discount tire and several others are stocking 35 12.50 17 but it’s now E rated where there old KM2 was a D.
Looking for feedback other than the usual magazine bs because they were free and paid. Thanks in advance.
Probably but have done the 1.5 collars already when I did the +3 deavers and bump stop kit a few weeks ago. I may see if a local shop that is a Maxxis dealer will test fit these for me.
I have not used the extensions. I tow a lawn trailer about one day a week with a 900 pound zero turn at front of trailer- got raptor payment side lawn thing- lol- With 100 pounds ish in bed also. It only drops about an inch and half or so. Before was almost three inches. Much better. No more...
I highly recommend the Deaver +3 HD you have to ask for this they are different than the +3 that everyone has in stock. I put mine on with the Fox/RPG Bumpstop Kit on my 2018. Not cheap but worth it for the load stability. Stock are done at roughly 300/400 pounds in the bed and drop to much...
Iam in the same boat. I just got in my RPG stage 3 kit for rear including +3 deavers that I got on the awesome group buy that Freedom Motorsports did. I got the RPG 1.5 collars but now started reading up on the springs. They are about another $250 over the collars but having already spent a ton...
That’s what I had do to. Had the head mechanic ride with me. He was not happy that the other mechanics could not figure it out. They replaced the 4wd vacuum system.
The Raptor brings the Ford name sales and bragging rights because it’s that cool of a vehicle. It’s a catogory of one. I have two buddies that recently have put take off rear shocks, raptor wheels, grills etc on a regular F150 to raptize it. It helps sell other F150s for sure and is good for...
Sounds like you need a limited with a suspension lift and a 5.0 not a raptor. Those things will never come on a raptor.
My guess is one new color. Hopefully not another grey.... another tan would be good, even a non metallic green maybe. Deavers as an option would be nice
Maybe after everyone blows their tax refunds it will slow down. Next month they might slow down. But yeah from what everyone says it’s worth the $2000. I wish I would have noticed the thread back in November.
No iam not into mall running, however a Starbucks once a week or so..... the truck is 50 percent DD and spends about a month out of the year on hunting trips in the Rockies in some pretty bad areas at times.
After looking at the A arm clearance I am not going to be able to pull it off...
Most of the 315/70/17 Are 34.4 or 34.5 and 12.6-12.8 width. Just looking to go with a more aggressive tire and something different than the stock ko2. 14.2 wide is two inches wider than the stock C range ko2 on there now which are 12.4 wide. I have a buddy that has the Razr MT on his JK Jeep...
Looking at upgrading the tires on my 2018 with the stock beadlock wheels. Truck is getting the RPG 1.5 collar in the next couple weeks. Maxxis Razr MT 35 13.50 17 tires spec at 14.2 in wide but are approved for a 8.5 in wide rim. Height wise they should fine at 34.8 inches but does anyone...
Hopefully another group buy gets going. I just did the rpg group buy and dropped 3k on rpg stage 3 and collars. Why not go all out and make it a little quicker.
I just traded in my 2017 for a 2018. On top of only losing 5k for a years worth of use and 26k miles. I had the 4wd system make the same grinding noise as described earlier. It would get loud and then the 4wd would try to engage and make this sound - when in two wheel drive, not good. Took two...
Yes. I got 59k trade paid 64k in Jan 2017 The 2018 I got was 70k but had beadlocks and carbon fiber which were a hold when I ordered mine last year. They had one on the lot with those options and I could not help myself
I got my new 2018 screw almost loaded minus stickers today for 1k under msrp. Traded in my 2017 screw with 26k miles for 5k less than what I paid a year ago which was msrp. Absolutely cannot beat the resale value it's crazy.
