You can drop a lower T-stat in it. I have front mount intercooler and 170 T-stat. I came across east cali and AZ at temps around 125 degrees running 80mph and AC blasting and my coolant temps were 180-190 on uphills. Flats and were 170-180.
Have you done any work to truck recently? When was the last time you changed the plugs? Maybe swap coil packs from 1 to 4 and see if anything changes. What other mods do you have?
Sorry you are having issues. I hope its something simple!
Well you must have a pretty sweet stable of vehicals if this one is not getting drove that much. I would be driving it all the time!!
Going to sell as is or part some of it out?
Its for sure loud. It was just a bit to much for me on the highway. I wouldn't call it drone but more like I could hear the exhaust. So I dialed it back just a bit.
Exactly. Their quality is top notch and they bright as ****. I tell everyone if you want the best you get BD.
Between my truck and jeep I have LP9s, Squadron Pros, S2s, Onx6+, and XL80s.
Gotcha. Yes i think the work scene will put the light closer to the truck and with wider pattern.
And you can't go wrong with Baja Designs stuff. My opinion its the best lights made. Im a BD *****!
I never did. I should have started a build thread when I started my gen2 but didnt. Now to much has been done and I'm not going back.
Thanks! I'm sure I'll update on here if and when it gets back to Matt.
Yes Matt stayed conservative because of it. Matt and I both were hoping for 575-600. It was "running out of fuel" on the top. I have a stock in tank and it was holding 80psi and i have XDI-EVO HPFP but it was running out of fuel. I have since swapped both hp and lp fuel rail sensors to start...
Not sure just yet. I did have Matt at Gearhead put it on the dyno for a tune. Having some fuel issues with injectors we need to work out but was able to get 475hp and 525 ft/lbs to the wheels on 37s. She is pretty fun to drive. Hopefully I can get it back to him and figure it out. May have...
Fumato does not make one for the plastic pan but Ronin does. Its def cost a bit more but works in a similar way to the Fumato. I didnt get one back when I had the plastic pan in my 17 because I was taking it to the dealer still. But after I installed the RMB longblock it came with his metal...
Fumato valve and a hose. Flip the tab and she drains right in the oil pan no mess and don't matter if its hot. And with my SVC bumper I can pull the skid and reach the oil filter with ease. And it drains down the factory funnel thingy right in the oil pan too. A little brake cleaner and a...
I hear ya. I did let Ford do my oil changes back when I had the stock Ecoboost in but now I do my own with Amsoil.
Oh I do my own tire rotation too....
I will eventually get some S2 or S1 for my backup assist someday. My windows are so dark that I need to roll down my window when backing up sometimes to see in the dark. I think a little extra light would help. I will be going with some work/scene pattern when I do.
I have always told my wife that I get paid to do my job so let's pay someone else to do theirs. Mine is not installing parts on my truck or jeep. Simple easy things like oil changes ill do but bigger things like swapping leaf springs, and def welding im going to pay someone else to do it...
I've had really 3 different exhaust now but all based on the Borla Atak. Started with the Borla Atak by itself. That last about 1 month is all I could take. Put some miles on it to "break in" and just couldn't do. It was way to much. But didn't have my stock resonator and Borla was not...
So what your saying is you would rather have a softer leaf spring with more lift than a stiffer spring with less lift? Like a +5SD over a +4HD. Right?
I want level, no rubbing, and a plush ride.
I think your right for the average person a simple ADL would be all that would be needed. I know there are a few here that have done them and they worked great. It was an option I looked I to when I initially bought my Deavers. I went with the piece of mind knowing I was getting a great...
