    Yeah if you are using the fuse tap in an 10 amp spot, you can't use a 5 amp fuse. You need to use a 10 amp for the main circuit and a 5amp is fine for the DRL

    Something doesn't look right there. Can you take some close ups of that fuse tap? I don't see the 2nd fuse tap. Is that the one that came with the Morimoto lights? Maybe unplug the fuse tap and show photos of the actual fuse tap itself?

    THAT you have to investigate. If something is shorting out you need to check your wiring. See if anything is shorting out from a cut wire or something else. Did you tap additionally/etc...

    You should not be upgrading fuses. If something blew, then you might have a short. I've had no issues with my setup.
