No, the question has nothing to do with Ford and everything to do with the chubby guy(?). If the problem was rampant within the Ford lineup then it would likely be a Ford problem. As it is, it’s a little chubby guy(?) problem. In fact, Why The **** didn’t the other guys(?) who say they had the...
If you use some simple googlefoo on Ford electric steering, "how it works" and "problems", this issue doesn't come up. There ARE issues with other vehicle types (cars-SUVs) where the Ford EPAS electronics can fail due to excess heat and from faulty steering torque/angle sensors. In at least...
- Decided to sell the Titan7 wheels I just received (see for-sale thread)
- Ordered the CRP Stage 5 turbos and exhaust manifolds
- Ordered rear sway bar setup
- Took the XDI HPFP out of the box and got it ready for install
- Ran another data log on my E50 tune and tweaked it for just a...

I'm really curious about the "problem". There are too many unanswered questions. I'm quite sure it isn't a "design flaw". It doesn't appear to me at this point that it is a basic mechanical problem either. It is a function of sensor confusion. The kickback is...
Their web site says 20.4lbs, but they actually weigh 22lbs each. Heavier than their spec, but still very light compared to the popular choices.
They also post this disclaimer which explains the difference in actual weight:
"All weights shown on our website are for guidance only. They are...
The dude is just a shit-for-brains hack. Any idiot who keeps beating anything like he does REPEATEDLY on his “favorite” stretch of road should have their head bashed in. As for the truck itself, a stock truck will NOT survive that type of treatment with zero failures.
The Gen 2 trucks have run...
Yep, 4 brand new in box Titan7 T-AK1 wheels for sale. These wheels are perfect. I installed new TPMS sensors with black metal valve stems, so I'll leave them in. They are beautifully made forged wheels that are the lightest available for the Raptor and they look awesome, so I bought a set...
ALMOST everything that makes a Raptor a Raptor visually can be purchased and swapped (just bolts & nuts) into the F-150. The suspension pieces, skid plates are bolted on, along with the fenders, hood, tailgate, etc.
The things pretty difficult to swap is:
1) the engine (Raptor has HO 3.5-...
Hhmmm?, My 2018 802A doesn't. if you press it once, it just shows all the modes with the current mode highlighted. If you don't press it again to move the selection, nothing changes and it just disappears after ~2 sec. To change modes, you must press it at least twice.
I can say for sure that knowing the exact E content is more accurate than guessing by the gallon in ANY case. I use it and the Fuel-it app to hit the correct E content. If it is off a few % after driving a while then you can correct it by adding some fuel.
The E content is pretty important to...
So true. I've only met ONE salesman who actually knew the vehicles in great detail. He was an enthusiast in college working a side job to pay for his car habit!
While many people think that the designers are at fault, they aren't, at least with most annoying things. The cost to Ford is the #1 driver. That same switch module is used on practically every Ford steering wheel in production, along with that same switch that has "mode" on it. The Raptor...
The truck won't shift modes if the operating conditions are not met. Simply poking the button to select a mode sets it up to check parameters. If you select 4L on the highway and wait for it to act, it will tell you it can't go there. The rear diff won't lock in unless you're below ~20 mph...
Perfect. As I said, the oil pickup is in the REAR. The oil PUMP is in the front. This oil pump/pickup (front/rear) configuration applies to all the Ford Duratec-based engines. The point is that acceleration forces will make the oil move to the rear of the pan where the oil pickup is located...
Yeah, now that you mention it, I'm sure there were some posts on it. The Raptor 3.5 also has a two-stage oil pump that runs at ~20psi on light load and steps up to ~60psi when the load rises. I've watched it work a few times, but I haven't seen anything in the Cobb software that "accesses" the...
Yeah, but no. There is ALWAYS a root cause of engine problems. A bearing doesn’t fail unless there is an oiling problem, simple as that. If it was simply too much power/torque, then hard parts break. In most cases of too much combustion pressure, the (Ford oem forged)rod will bend and/or the...
People running higher ethanol content should install an Ethanol Content Analyzer. I like this one from Fuel-It. It is Plug & Play. Just swap out the OEM fuel line with this one and connect power/ground and get real-time ethanol content % and fuel temp. No guessing or messy measuring at the...
If you send me the dyno run file (.drf) and I'll show you what they really mean. I can easily make those numbers appear, plus I can make them higher or lower if you want. People just don't understand dynamometer operation and will take anything at face value if marketed to their weakness...
Bless your ignorant heart niki. There isn’t enough attention span in here for any real data. If it doesn’t fit into 15 words or less, “people” can’t follow it. I do ALL my own work and tuning, so yeah, I know things. I don’t give it out unless I like you, and you’re not on my list... I told you...
