So I got a couple of shots of the procedure. It seems if I choose more fuel it balances out better. I've attached a photo of 3/4 of a tank and a full tank. Full tank put everything a -1 but they were bouncing between -1 and 0. I think I'll go with that but I've also attached a pic of my fuel...
So I just picked my truck up from the shop getting the Cobb FMIC, K&N I/C pipes, and turbo smart BOV. It might be placebo(probably is after driving that rental) but man this truck pulls HARD even on 37s. I noticed though after changing my tire size in Forscan I had this DTC. Is this an issue or...
Yeah had a half a tank in it. I did it in the garage to try and find the most level spot. Truck didn't have anything or anybody in it. I had the drivers door open standing outside
So a little update. Ending up going with 2800mm because Tiresize was suggesting like 29xx and that was giving me a ABS error. After using 2800 it's dead on, maybe off by a 1/2mph which I think is a W.
Now the ride height calibrator, when I went to run it I was showing like -13 on one and -16...
So I'm finally picking the truck up from the shop since getting 37" tires installed on Method 703s. I had a quick question though, are the only things I need to do below? I think I've got all my ducks in a row but wanna make sure.
-Change tire size to 37" in Forscan
-PCM/TCM relearn after...
I'm sure this can answered quickly but I can't find a definite answer on this. My truck is currently in the shop getting work done(wheels, tires, FMIC, and some other things) and since they'll have it kinda torn down I was going to make sure I had all the I/C piping upgraded. I went with a COBB...
Update:
Truck has been dropped off. Used PTAP in Columbus, GA. Really an incredible shop. Walked all around the truck with me planning on what to do and notes on it. Should have it for about two weeks and do the following:
-Full satin PPF (entire truck, fenders, and bumpers)
-Correct any...
Is a FMIC that much more efficient for a Gen 3 than let's say Cobbs upgraded stock replacement? One install looks to be much much hard than the other and wondered about tuning and stuff.
Search thru my post history and you can find some. I'm selling the ones that were on my truck currently. They were way too dark to me. I wanted a smoked looked but they are like blacked out. Didn't blend with my truck right. I might try some red ones eventually or try Recon.
Truck is going next Wednesday to a shop an hour away for about two weeks. It's getting matte PPF on the entire truck(truck will be taken apart), flares taken off, film removed and matte installed and if they need touched up that as well, plus Eibach 1" front springs, Method 703s in black, and...
Not really. I'm actually in the process of taking my truck to another shop next week. They are going to take the flares off along with other parts of the truck and doing the entire thing in matte PPF.
Question, if you go front and rear springs on a 35 truck to upgrade to 37s will you need to any kind of calibration or just adjust tire size in Forscan?
I think I’ve got two issues…
1) it’s been a week. Wait awhile and see how I feel after I get wheels in and 37s(that’s planned)
2) I need to allow the installer a chance to correct some of the imperfections in the PPF. Fenders I’m sure are a nightmare to do anyway.
Well for starters quit being an absolute dumba$$ and doing stupid things like PFF on a pick up truck and drive it like a truck. I've really got one option(not counting the live it alone and deal) is order 4 brand new fender flares, remove it from the bumpers and install the new flares. I'm not...
No those are separate pieces I just meant he didn't take the flares off. But like the photos in some of the corners around the lights is well.....kinda off
That wouldn't be a bad option but given the photos I wonder if the guy can properly wrap the flares. He didn't take anything off and did everything on the truck
