It is true all are CA emissions compliant but the DMV will do an inspection of the vehicle and unless it has that sticker under the hood, you wont be able to register or at least that is what happened in my case at the DMV I went to.
As far as the weight, that came up in my registration as well...
Do yourself a favor and have it SMOG checked at a FORD dealership. Because of the low miles, one of the test is a self-check by your cars computer of all the emission sensors. It will fail this test because not enough miles are driven. If the FORD SMOG Tech knows what he is doing, he will...
Wow. 9K under MSRP on a 2018. I haven't heard of any better deal on a 2018. Does the vehicle have California emissions sticker under the hood and also stated on the window sticker?
My brother has setup the blackvue with a netgear wifi hotspot - https://www.netgear.com/landings/nighthawk-mnr1100-mobile-router/default.aspx
He can remote view his vehicle and gets text alerts to any motion, doors open etc.... I was hoping I could do the same using the built-in LTE hot spot
AT&T is kind of strange. I have an old unlimited AT&T plan that I keep because the pricing is more competitive, but I cannot turn my phone into a HOT SPOT on this plan. If I want to do that, I have to switch to a more current unlimited plan that comes in at a much higher cost.
I did find...
Any information out there on what the monthly cost is for the LTE Hot Spot WiFi that comes standard on the 2019 model? I haven't found any info in the manuals or on the system itself. I heard it is thru AT&T.
Also is the HOT SPOT only active when the vehicle is running or does it remain a HOT...
Any Raptor Assault attendees who have 2018's but drove 2019's at Raptor Assault? When I attended, the instructors said some guys who have 2018's are looking to unload them for 2019's. Is this a sales pitch by Raptor Assault? IDK, but all were impressed by the 2019 models.
Proof people are paying MSRP+ in California. Came across this note left with the BBB/complaint against Huntington Beach Ford. Interesting enough this dealership shows ZERO Raptors but in 2018, they had probably 10-15 on their lots late in 2018, all MSRP+.
Make sure it has California Emissions on the Window Sticker and emissions sticker under the hood. Also be prepared when registering the vehicle with California DMV to have a smog certificate. Take it to a Ford Dealership locally that does SMOG and ask if their SMOG technician knows how to...
