There's a new trail in Grapevine and the one I usually go when I don't want to drive 2+ hrs is in Bridgeport, which would be roughly 1.5 hrs away from where you are... I'm in Aubrey...
I'm not sure what color code is Iconic Silver, but if your DOS-like document indicates that as color code and it matches against Ford's guide, you're good. I can check later tonight with my guide and let you know.
I reached out again - oh because I'm like that - and Tom at FP confirmed build date of AUG 16th and that the truck has a VIN... btw- VINs are only shared by the dealer. Someone here mentioned something about color, which is true - check your DOS-like documents and make sure you have the color...
Quick question guys:
I posted yesterday that I got the build date for wk of Aug 16th (37 Pkg) after speaking with FP... I did forgot to ask if there was a VIN already assigned... If I got a scheduled build date, does that mean I should have a VIN too? I'll check with FP on Monday but wanted to...
Just chatted with Tom over at FP. Scheduled to Week of Aug-16-2021 !!!
37 Pkg/ AM Blue/ Roofs/ etc...
My dealer shared the order verification sheet with 68R code entered into WBDO (37 pkg) so I'm in boys! I forgot to ask about a VIN but Tom at FP told me to revert back on beginning of August...
Five Star Ford Dallas has been reaching out to folks who've asked about the trucks, ordered, etc... I know I received a text from the sales rep to come check it out.
Hello my fellow Gen3 advocates... I appreciate everyone has or may have had a different story when calling Ford Performance, but thought I'd share mine in case it happens to you as well.
Ford Performance# 1-800-367-3788 (I think I spoke to Trevor, or Trey or someone with a T, can't remember...
This means the truck has been registered in TxDOT to be driveable anywhere in TX roads until it receives the official TX Plate. Every new, used or newly-registered vehicle gets a temporary plate like the Raptor has. Being that this looks like a Marketing stunt from Ford Performance, the August...
I received a text from the sales rep which originally had stated MSRP, and now is asking $15k ADM to come check it out.. I might just visit to take pics and laugh when overhearing ppl's ADM stories "to be the first".
I agree bud, I'm selling it as it is, but why does asking for a bump in priority makes no sense? I've seen here ppl stating that they've asked their dealers to bump them from 19 (which is Ford's custom order default) to a lower number, as far down as 10...
I have placed two orders at 2...
Here's an update my dealer shared when I asked 2 things regarding my order:
1. Ford confirmation of build acceptance and 37" pkg build details
2. Bump in priority
Dealer response:
"Ford will send us notification of the truck being submitted to plant and then we will know that everything was...
Don't want to be a show stopper but after talking to several dealerships, what has already been shared by folks here (as VOC/DORA attachments) do not guarantee anything through Ford. It is simply a record of how the order/build is submitted and not what the truck will eventually be, UNLESS you...
I called Ford Customer Service and they explicitly indicated that Ford as a Manufacturer can only SUGGEST what the retail price of any production unit can be, BUT given that ALL Ford Authorized Dealers are INDEPENDENTLY OWNED AND OPERATED, said dealers do have autonomy on whatever price they can...
