Regardless if he's talking about a Gen 2 or Gen 1 - This forum used to exist to help folks out. From stupid simple questions (why doesn't my gear indicators show up anymore) to really damn complex ones, this site was amazing for figuring stuff out. I have posted quite a few videos on how to's...
Holy shit - I remember when someone could come up here and ask a question and get an answer, maybe even a helpful step by step.
I've owned mine for 5 years, and numerous off road escapades, and sure as shit I'd be stuck out there without these boards and the help they used to provide.
So I...
I have the Raceline R, and ADD custom made it for me. I have always found their customer service and build quality to be very good. I had the stealth fighter before that, and yeah, it was a lawn dart (however you would always win in an accident). I think the raceline R is a much better design...
yeah, wow, they really jacked the price. here it is a bit cheaper though (don't forget the bolts - you need 8 of them)
FORD OEM Tail Gate Tailgate Hatch-Access Cover Panel 8C3Z9943121A | eBay
Better to just start with the RPG Bolt Kit. You'll get there eventually, and by starting there you save the two starting steps (single 3.0's up front, duals up front, then Nirvana...)
Jalopnik just did a dyno pull of the 2017 and it maxed at 332 rwhp which seems REALLY low (my 2012 with just CAI pulled 336). seems most raptors have about an 18-19% loss on 35" tires, that means the original numbers in this thread make more sense at 365.
wonder why the huge variance?
yeah my 2012 driver mirror same thing. passenger is fine, driver looks like's it's in a constant earthquake.
wish they could've had the passenger install guy do the driver side as well.
:specialed:
Oh, sport plus mode on my GT3 is crazy good. I have run lap times in sport plus with nannies on in automatic, and with nannies off in paddle shift, and the car in auto is almost faster than me.
I have 10 events under the truck now, always run all nannies off, ORM on, rears locked. I only dropped to 4wd for the silt hill and the mud bath at Octoberfest 2014.
Never had an issue with the rear end. This last event ran super hard all three days, put over 450 miles on the track on 37's...
i checked all the off road write ups on it, and yeah, nobody mentions going 2wd locked.
this is gonna suck for TRR - running the course in 4wd is going to mean a lot of busted trucks on the course.
I looked at the times as well, then I looked at the massive array of DNF's. Fact that truck is almost stock, did the whole race on 1 set of tires, then he drove the damn thing home.
Big Big props to Greg and team.
I have had State Farm, Geico and Farmers
Currently on farmers with my 2012
Some things to consider:
1. mods - I listed my mods to Farmers and have them insured (I have close to $50k in mods)
2. off road events - I have read thru the full documents (I am no a laywer, but I can read), and...
I have the 37 RTs, about 4K miles and about 600 heavy off road miles. So far they are fantastic, handled everything TRR threw at the. And no chunking like the MT. On road they are quieter than the MT, haven't done snow yet, but they did good in the wet, got me decent acceleration traction, and...
I have a few pics, courtesy of Joe (go buy his photos, he puts some serious time into them) and Corey, who has saved my truck, my sanity, and taken pictures to prove it year after year. I don't just owe Corey a beer, I probably owe him a damn brewery at this point.
Might notice that there...
here's my videos. I was testing different cameras between the Waylens, 360Fly, GoPro and Garmin Virb.
Here are the thoughts:
1. Garmin Virb - quite possibly the best inside the cab camera you can own. You can, but don't have to pair it to any smartphone, real easy switch for recording, has...
I have heard three of these now, two in person, one on this video. I think the trucks looks fantastic.
I think they need to back to work on the the sound, which is just as important as the looks. The Ford GT has a much better sound, so with that setup it is possible.
Yes I love my trucks...
Yeah, but like I said, for every shit dealer there is one out there that cares about customers.
This is the main reason I stopped buying Ferrari's. The dealers can't mark up their cars, but they force customers into stupid contracts which requires them to buy a used car first, then get on...
I had a GT3 RS at sticker. I gave up my place mainly because i use my GT3 more on the street than on the track.
I have never had a dealer refuse to sell me any new (key word here is new) Porsche at list. Sure they mark up used ones to over value, but I have dealt with Porsche of Plano, Park...
