good question.
i've had winches on pretty much all my trucks going back 15 years. Don't have to use them much, but there is always something about 1-2 times a year where I am either stuck, or someone else is and I can't tow strap them out.
it's a piece of mind thing for me. I like my ADD...
it's just a thing with me. I don't really like any of the fit and finish on them. spent a bunch of time looking over quite a few trucks at TRR with all three major brands, and honestly, just doesn't do anything for me.
so, if I can't run the KR2's, then I'll go to KM2's in a 35
These aren't true 37's, they come in at 36.5, and are about 3 pounds heavier per fire than my Toyo 35's (which are more like 35.5).
Question is with my RPG double front bypass setup and stock fenders can I make it work? I run the truck hard and don't want to break the fenders or liners, has...
mine is in at Ford right now, looks like the steering link - not the whole box is going, they are putting in a new one today, 470 including labor. 15k miles on truck, but pretty well abused off road, so I have no complaints.
in some cases it's that they have a wire run too close to another stock run that isn't shielded well enough. That's a common gremlin that can be sorted pretty easily. Have them move around the cabling coming into the system, see if the noise decreases. there are some pretty "loud" OEM wire...
I have the SW LT headers with cats going into a Borla exhaust dumped at the rear axle.
Do not think that in any way shape or form these won't be loud in the cab. People wet themselves when I start up my truck.

here is one from inside the truck...
after runniing over 150 miles at TRR with the SVC tune, here's what I found:
1. Running in normal mode, the engine does great, holds gears pulls strong 1, 2 and 3.
2. Putting it in off road mode - basically makes it a 2.7 four cylinder. Truck felt like it was pulling a boat anchor. The...
I will say there is a huge difference between my new 3.5 setup and the 3.0's of last year. The back of the truck now tracks to the performance of the front, and the truck screamed thru everything, and loved to air it out

here's some shots of mine from the event. kinda nice having your own private photographer... Nicholas Shirley
I love this first one, this was that steep ass hill on the front side, my truck wanted up it so bad the rears were airborne:
Pictures, you want pictures? Nicholas has got his online for you. If you buy the digital print you are getting somewhere between 10 and 14 megabytes so make a wall mural of your muddy glory. here's his link: Nicholas Shirley
He also made a cool 2 minute video of the event. that is here...
TRR was a blast. other than a bad MAF sensor from my stupid AirRaid falling off (again...) and one lost center cap off my Methods, truck worked like a champ.
spent about 4 hours cleaning it Sunday, and I will say, I bitched about the mud when I was there, but at least it mostly stayed...
