Truxedo makes a soft tonneau with adjustable ties downs in the rails. The Truxedo Tonneu-trax. Each tie down point can handle 250 lbs of pressure. Probably not for heavy duty usage but it's an option. I have this cover on my Raptor and it's pretty nice, esp. for a soft cover.
MIne ended up being the high pressure hose on the power steering pump having a leak at the connection point. Hopefully it is fixed for good now. The dealer did an interior detailing for me to ease the sting of brining it in for the 2nd time in 5 days. That should work assuming I'm not in...
ginger, I have the same issue going on right now. Last week I went to leave from work and the steering was groaning a whining really bad. I got it home and popped the hood to see what the deal was. The power steering fluid was about 1.5 inches below the MIN fill line. I looked under the...
I just installed a Truxedo TonneauTrax. Basically a Lo Pro QT with 4 adjustable ties down in the rails. The best part of..Morrie from the Bakflip factory outlet will still hook you up with an unbeatable price! Install took about 45 minutes. We got about 6 inches of snow this weekend here in...
Ranger...that is the information that usually precipitates the sleepless nights, endless forum trolling, and inability to focus on anything not Raptor related. Won't be long though....
Today is the day! Picking it up at 1pm followed by the requisite "there are many like it, but this one is mine" photos. Now it can snow all it wants here in Iowa!
Sometimes access to information is even worse than knowing nothing. In a shipping lot in Chicago, just 6 hours from my front door, sits my truck. Delivery sometime this week. Bring on the sleepless nights. Actually, I have had those since the build week.....
Maybe by Friday.
My order came today too. Rolled into the garage from taking my kid to the Boat Show and it was stacked in there by UPS. Ordered Thursday afternoon at 5pm and and it was delivered within 36 hours. Crazy fast!
On the recommendation of just about everyone on the forum I hit up Morrie when ordering my new Truxedo Tonneau Trax and Bedrug. Seriously unbeatable pricing and the shipping took less than 2 days. Pics to follow as soon as the truck gets delivered. Should be here this coming week! But have...
Jealous. Looks just like mine that should be arriving in a couple weeks. Also wish I could start the mods right away but it'll be a bedliner and deciding between Harley parts and Raptor parts for years to come.
A 2005 Durango XLT. Not that it was my favorite ride, but I sold it on Christmas and since then have been in a 2000 Neon the dealer gave me as a loner until the Raptor arrives. It sucks.....and it's purple. Can't wait until the week of 1/16 when I get that call.....
I got the same news yesterday, getting the build week of 1/2. It would be interesting to truly understand the ordering system though. I understand the need to have some "spec" vehicles on lots and stuff like that but the randomness of the build dates for ordered vehicles has been frustrating...
Just like buying a Harley. So many mods to choose from and when you compare the new model to your own, they just don't look as cool. It would looka hell of a lot more aggressive parked next to an FX4 than it would an already modded Raptor.
Good to know exactly what my '12 SCrew will look...
I have posted a few times around here but realized I never popped in here to say hey. Will be an owner as soon as my black SCREW is delivered. Order was placed in early October so just sitting back, taking it all in, and doing my best to stay patient.
Snow is due to start flying in Iowa so...

I thought I should make my first post a value-added one.
Randy-
As one of the lucky few who does have a 2012 on order, thanks for the No -BS (my dealer called his buddy on the production floor, my 3rd cousin mixes Tuxedo black paint in Japan, I ordered mine 3 days ago and got an VIN instantly....) updates on the production schedule.
That is actually an Eco-Boost build that I believe "Four Wheeler" or similar magazine put togehter over the course of several issues. Cool truck but not a "missed" Raptor.
