I tried using my remote start today from about 30 feet and no luck. I had to get to about 15 feet for it to work. This seems odd. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to possibly change batteries in the fob?

ETA on the square light package? Would really like to see those before I decide.

I had the exact same question - I don't think it's possible to have the fob in the car and NOT be able to unlock it by touching the handle. I wish there was a way to override it too..

I am having the exact same issue. My dealer is supposedly calling BakFlip to see if there is a compromise between snugness (water tight) and allowing power gate to release to open. I will post if I find anything..

True, but it would have to be modified significantly and taped on to fit. The tailgates with the appliques are completely different than those without. I would like an original if possible.
