After all the problems I had, finally my Code Orange is here! I am glad that I was able to get this one since it looks way better than with the regular rims!
Wanted to give you all an update of my situation. After sending a message to Autonation's Corporate office, they immediately reached out, apologized for the incredible bad management from the Miami dealer, and worked hard to fix the problem. Finally, today I got a call from them letting me know...
Or maybe some rich dude paid a big ADM, realized the truck would get no use and took it back to the dealer, who most likely paid him bellow MSRP and will make nice money again.
I am in South Florida and my built is 10/07 and dealer delivery 11/09. I had another one built for me that the dealer fu*** asking 20k ADM, and dates were pretty accurate for that one. In fact it arrived a couple of days ahead of schedule.
I totally agree with you and have said this in other posts. Not only this would end all these dealers' abuse, but also eliminate all the unnecessary time we all have to spend at the dealer to get the paperwork done and decline all the rest of BS services they try to sneak in.
Everyone ordering 2022s has to be very patient. 2022s are expected to begin production "somewhere in Q1" meaning that the first lucky ones will see their Raptor by March.
This does not look legit. Order date 09/30? Also, normally Ford's webpage is updated the day order bank open, and until know it still shows 2021 for the F150.
I got a call today from a dealer I reached out one month ago. The person that had placed a deposit walked out of the deal, most likely since they are asking 15k ADM. Told them I would only buy it at MSRP and they said they would call me if it does not sell soon.
Only way to make a decision will be when ford's webpage is updated and we can configure the 22s. Dealers have no idea of pricing yet, so whatever they tell you is a guess.
Based on production limitations, I wouldn't be surprised if upgrading to 37 will cost more than 7500 since the base price...
I would definitely double check on that, since no promos are ever applicable to Raptors. I still think that 17k is a great deal. Your 17 will start to depreciate faster when the newer model has a more significant numbers of units in the market.
