I think I was done about 4-430 when I did my course last may. So you “should” be ok with 705 but I would maybe look for an hour later than that. Never know if a truck will break down out there, etc. I was just safe and left the next day in the AM.
TXRaptor Yes my truck is stock no helper springs or anything else, now ifi were to put my 23 foot toy hauler on there, I def need the weight dist. hitch because there is way more tongue weight on there then the boat. that weighs 5000 dry. I have a tundra to pull our trailer though. go figure.
We can put 1000lbs or so in the bed. Which adds to your total GVWR. Which is why I said “technically” we can tow 7000.
Either way I have had zero issues towing 5500-6000 lbs worth of boat without a weight distribution hitch. Tongue weight is a huge thing to consider as well, my boat sits...
I pull our 23 foot centurion ski boat 4500# empty, with 46 gallons of fuel, and then 8-900 lbs for the trailer on my 18 SCAB and it feels like the boat isn't there, run 40PSI in the rear tires to keep them from rolling over, technically we have a 7000lb capacity if you have nothing in the bed...
You don't have to go to socal to shock tune, there's a dude out of gardnerville nv that tunes ultra4 rigs on the regular. so getting a raptor to work better than it already does shouldn't be an issue. Liberty Mountain Fabrication
Youre going to need the entire face of the console. and then the screen, and hopefully everything plugs in to the new face plate. At least that's how I figure it may work.
I have a leadfoot 800a, ill be following this one too. I didn't really feel I needed all the extra crap since I will be offroading my truck, already have! But yeah I had a 2015 mustang GT 35K msrp and it had the touch unlock handles, was kinda miffed that it wasn't on my 53K truck. But whatever...
That seams to be what everyone buys so you will probably have about a 2 month wait, I would see if your dealer can trade. Because there are plenty of 802a trucks out there.
It's going to depend on what your order is. My dealer did not have any allocations left, since they are small, I order my truck sept 7th, build date scheduled 10/7 delivery by 10/29. But like I said it depends on what you order. And I ordered a truck that most will not, leadfoot 800a super cab...
When did this become a debate about supercrew vs supercabs? apparently rich guys get to buy the most raptors and spend $70K+. I ordered mine and spent $53k.
Both cabs have their purpose. Mine will spend 95% of its time DD duties. I have a supercrew tundra to haul people around if I want to...
I believe it becomes a **** swinging contest at some point, I already have he baddest truck on the road, no one is gonna know that I don't have a sunroof except for me. Going to get people thumbsupping me anyway regardless of if I paid $70k or $50k
Yeah I don't think you are going to be able to get a lemon law claim for this. Its a brand new truck, you have a .01% issue with your truck.
Parts, even brand new parts can fail, as long as they fix it within a reasonable time frame, theres no way you will be able to claim its a lemon...
Yeah I only wanted the limited slip front diff for offroading purposes. I get the mark up etc. just curious, I like the review from a fulyl loaded truck guy to a "base" raptor. makes me feel better about it. Im not rich but I make decent money, I have a loaded tundra crew max for the fam. this...
If you buy any car based off its resale value, then youre an idiot. Unless you have millions of dollars and can buy million dollar cars that increase in value as they get more rare. resale on raptors is sky high regardless. AN di don't plan on getting rid of this truck any time soon.
So when I was searching for a truck, All I could find were 802a package raptors just sitting on lots because 70K msrp.
I ended up ordering an 800a supercab, leadfoot, with front limited slip. I don't feel I needed the extras, and well, im a DIY'er so I can upgrade stereo components and such...
Well after years of owning fast cars, I am just over the everyday jarring of lowered suspension etc, want a nicer, more compliant ride, so away goes the S550 mustang.
Ordered a 18' 800a s/cab in leadfoot. only option I got was the front torsen diff.
Im guessing ill be waiting 2 months...
