Got the Fullrace radiator and trans cooler installed. Perfect fit into stock provisions without having to mess around with anything at all. Very nice quality, would highly recommend!
Turns out the unit I got was in fact the incorrect unit. Looks like it was probably for a Sync 1 vehicle that didn't have an APIM. I went back and forth with the company on Aliexpress and also sent messages to their website with no reply. They kept trying to tell me it was the correct unit for...
Still going back and forth with the company at this point. Probably will just have to file a chargeback on it as it's clearly the wrong unit after looking at the install instructions.
That's also why they are 1/3rd of the price of other options too, even though they are made the same way, or better. I wouldn't run their super light race brakes on something I pull trailers with, but I wouldn't have any issue running those 6 piston setups.
Cheaper brake upgrade is just to do some better pads and rotors. Outside of that it depends on what size wheel you wanna run. I think Alcon is the only company making a kit that fits under 17's besides TBM.
For those guys wondering, there's now a brake kit on the market from TBM outside of their "race" brakes.

I would be curious to know how they stack up to the other brake options currently.
At this point I'm just gonna go with the Full Race radiator. I'm assuming it would be a good idea to go with their transmission cooler as well? Any other recommended upgrades to do at this time?
A handful of people had leak issues with the CBR ones, meaning it wouldn't be any better than the Mishimoto issues. The Ron Davis one doesn't even have a price or availability.
Cold Case has gotten pretty popular it seems after more people on YouTube have been using them, but they seem to offer a quality product for a good price like Mishimoto used to. I did some back reading on here and there's been mentions of CBR ones having leak issues, and that was back when they...
Got this project wrapped up as well. If you aren't a handy person, I would not recommend attempting these. I ended up tracing the stock sill plates to the lighted ones, cut them down with a cut off wheel, sanded the ends smooth, filled the ends with hot glue to seal the plastic to the metal...
Since I have the truck back finally I ended up getting these installed. They're mounted at the top corners of the radiator support and wired into the factory horn wiring. She's pretty damn loud now with the air horns and the Supertones. lol
I was leaning either towards the Full Race one or the Cold Case one. I think the CBR or Ron Davis ones were ungodly expensive for reasons I don't understand.
Thankfully they are cheap to just get new ones and clear coat them. I'm sure they could be polished out, but for how cheap the new ones are doesn't make a lot of sense.
Hey guys, the stock radiator is starting to have a slow leak on the driver side end tank and I figure it's time to replace it with something better. The only thing I remember is the Mishimoto radiators having tons of leak problems. Is there a better recommendation on a supplier? Also, any other...
