    Payload SUCKS!!

We know what wood and a passenger looks like. And we also know how much they weigh, but I guess you don't. Or you just go on a test drive and write a check without realizing the key fact here that you bought the wrong truck if that's something you do regularly. Everyone else here seems to know...

    Payload SUCKS!!

You think there are any old SVT lightning owners out there calling people names on a forum for telling them they're dumb for being mad they can't haul a load of sand bags in their truck bed?

    Payload SUCKS!!

Now you look here jimmy joebobaruski.... You get hung up on everyone's exaggeration for effect and miss the point of what they're saying. Try putting weight in a tacoma and tell me it's as good as a raptor. You already said it, you didnt understand the GVWR. So stop pretending like what you're...

I miss the forums where you could call an idiot an idiot and not have everyone else think you're the idiot.

    Other Shocks

Agreed on needing to step up, not down... AccuTune has some shocks that are a little cheaper than the bypass ones everyone advertises, I think they're super duty spec, but have very similar dimensions. They revalve them to your needs for free too.

    Don't 4x4 here! Maybe?

Given the fact that it mentions on the sign "restoration costs" id say it means no vehicles off road at ALL, but that's me....

GEN 1 Here ya go for the guys that want to run Gen2 struts!

Exactly. Gen2 take offs aren't free, and the average person likely won't be doing those new towers themselves, so you're talking about damn near a wash for price. Such an odd business decision....

GEN 1 Here ya go for the guys that want to run Gen2 struts!

That seems like a gigantic waste of money and effort for such a minimal gain...

    Sway A-Away 2.5 Suspension

What are you basing this on? Current AFE stuff is hard to say, still fairly new. But I think your basis for this from the old stuff is a bit off...They have always been a decent quality shock at a more affordable price. They had plenty of issues with coating of the bodies but internals and all...

    Sway A-Away 2.5 Suspension

SAW got bought out by AFE and my friends at Accutune have been working to get lead times on shocks and parts, and it's been a bit difficult as they get the operation switched over and running smoothly. SAW used to be the budget quality shock, and I think they're moving towards being something...

Can I get a price check on my Raptor?

After taking forever to sell my Tacoma, I think it's honestly the modifications. Bumpers are a very subjective thing, and not many people like them when buying used. I had a tacoma with $10k+ in bumpers and suspension, and people were asking me below bluebook in a sellers market. Other than it...

    Leaf Spring suggestions ‘13 Raptor

Is that with the same shocks on both sets of springs? I had Icons on my Tacoma and they weren't bad, but anything was better than stock...

    Leaf Spring suggestions ‘13 Raptor

Is the spring rate on the Deavers more than Icon? Or the feel is that they're stiffer? I've heard the spring rates for Icon are actually higher than factory, and Deaver is lower than factory...

    Dirt Logic/Fabtech

I want to say they were re-branded sway-away? What are you looking at? It's probably got some corners cut or items that make it slightly less desirable for a lower price point.

What Programmer / Tune / Tuner??

So I did a bit of reading through this thread and looking at others, made my choice to go with 5 star, only to have them tell me after that they don't tune CA trucks..... Now that i'm all excited to get a tuner for this thing, does anyone offer tunes for CA trucks, or do I just have to lie...

    Which portable air compressor

Another vote for C02. I put mine together with a 20lb tank off craigslist and a fixed 150psi reg, plus hose and chuck for like $75-100. Much faster, easier, and quieter. A Powertank isn't worth the money, just browse craigslist for a tank. Only problem is a mounting solution for the tank, still...

DIY CO2 air tank / save money

I've transported hundreds of bottles of various gases in the bed of a pickup truck for work and for personal use, never once got a DOT sticker. How much do they charge? Just curious. I think I pay like $25 for a swap out on my 20lb. I don't have to worry about testing it, waiting to get it...

Why a DOT sticker? I've never gotten a DOT sticker on mine.

DIY CO2 air tank / save money

Alternatively, you can check craigslist/offerup and find people selling hydro'ed C02 tanks for cheap. I picked up my 20lb tank, with a 150psi fixed regulator for like $40. Trick is just wading through the ads for a decent one. Also, if you want to get one of these, look into where and how you're...
