Nothing special, but finally got to take my raptor out to the dirt for a little fun around Mojave, CA yesterday checking out some mines. Suspension felt great, other than a bit of a thud I have in the front right coilover, like it's topping out. I'm worried Fox shipped it without enough oil in...
I'm not worried about in truck, more carrying around when trying to get unstuck, but sure, have some 2x6s bouncing around in your truck to save a few bucks. I'm pretty sure someone buying a $70k truck isn't as worried about an $80 set of boards if they were so inclined.
I used one of those cheap ones for the last 5+ years with a slightly larger antenna and it has some great reach. I've finally got a real 55w ICOM mounted in the console now, they're great to have in groups. Law abiding types will complain you need a HAM license to use them, because you do...
Nobody really uses a CB much anymore, I'd like into a UHF/VHF race radio handheld like a Baofeng with the longer antenna and a list of common channels used.

The 8w model would be even better, but is twice the price...
I think the catch is the price.....
They generally allow for more droop, where the factory ball joint would bind, the uniball would not. They also move a bit more freely than the rubber sleeved pivots, and transfer more road feel into the truck since they arent isolated. Unless you're really...
I appreciate the assistance, and I'll try some of those combos, but that's an oil pressure issue, not the evap system issue. I've googled a lot of different combinations of things as well and haven't had any luck, hence me coming here to search.
Thanks for the help. Can you tell me what exactly I'm doing wrong on the search?
The thread looks to be about other codes, but it reminded me that my truck will occasionally leak fuel when I fill up the tank. As in the nozzle shutoff kicks it off, and then all of a sudden a bit of fuel ends up...
Anyone get this code? Popped up twice on me, but only when in AZ backing down a launch ramp it seems. Never gotten it otherwise. Usually clears after a few key cycles... I didnt find a single post on here about this one, which was very surprising for one of two reasons: Nobody has posted about...
There's a whole lot more to tuning shocks than that, but ok. Externally, sure. LOTS can be done with internals (Piston changes, infinite shim layouts, oil weights, bleed holes, etc.
Mine does a hard 1-2 shift driving from a cold start, only if I drive it lightly, if I drive a bit faster, it doesnt do it, or it isn't noticeable. It's otherwise fine when warmed up.
*now googling lead frame"
I've heard a lot of people enjoy leadnav on the ipad over a lawrence. The leadnav seems more user friendly and easier to manipulate on the fly. Also opt for the external GPS antennae dongle to improve the accuracy and update times.
While that's mostly true, it also has to do with the shape of a rim. The inner side of a rim has a larger shelf for the tire bead to sit on before dropping off and losing the bead. Look at the profile of the left side vs the right, below.
You can definitely adjust the height after installing, and is best done using a spring compressor, off the truck. The body threads don't like being adjusted with spring pressure on them, and you run the risk of damaging the threads. It can be done, but it isn't ideal while on the truck, there's...
You're right, it's easier. Also, nuts and bolts is not the way to go. You'd be a lot better off with a rivnut, like they use in plenty of factory applications for sheet metal attachment.
I installed L-track/airline track in my bed. Cheap sticks off amazon and a few single points in the middle...
