Potential of burbles and pops on First Gen Raptor?

Find a tuner that makes those stupid kinds of tunes and see if they can ruin your truck for you.

The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

Are you planning to add all the hardware that makes a live valve shock work too? Without it there's not really a point....

Front vs. Front & Rear 3.0 shock upgrade

If you had a stock f150 you'd notice it a lot more. The rear shocks on the raptor are already a decently tuned shock, so adding nicer front shocks isnt nearly as big of a change to the truck's balance. It is a big upgrade to the fronts though, as it really gives it more fluid volume to work...

    Suspension Basics Explained

Gen 1 shocks don't have shraders, they have needle valves im pretty sure, people get shraders installed when they replace them. Yes you can fill on the truck, if you can get to the valve. I think for them it's more a liability thing or just difficulty to do on the truck properly.

    Suspension Basics Explained

I see you linked one of their pictures in your post, but Accutune has a ton of great tech articles and videos about suspension specifics https://accutuneoffroad.com/articles/

    Refrigerator

Interesting, havent heard of this option. For fridge owners, do you move these around much, or just leave them in the truck at all times? Obviously it wont cool without power, but I'm debating for camping or taking on other trips, if this is the best option, especially if we take smaller trips...

    GEN 1 First suspension mods

The PCI chase kit is a great setup, and fairly simple install, for the average user. Or, grab a $40 baofeng handheld on amazon to keep it simple, and keep as a spare for the future.

    GEN 1 First suspension mods

I bought deavers because I planned to tow a bit here and there, but I'm not sure they're necessary right off the bat. UCAs aren't super necessary to me, how often do you see a broken UCA with a properly set up suspension? If you find a deal, sure, but I really think they're more for bling, and...

GEN 1 Rear Differential Whine on 2014

Remember that if you change rear gears, you need to change front gears. I wouldn't change ratios, for multiple reasons, especially if you're staying 35s.

GEN 1 Rear Differential Whine on 2014

You could pull the cover and check it yourself with simple tools in your driveway without a lift. Grab a lubelocker gasket and you don't have to worry about resealing it with RTV, which isn't too hard anyway. That being said, you won't be able to see much by pulling the cover unless it's chewed...

Gen-1 Front Control arm bushing questions

Here's a whole thread discussing it. https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/chasing-that-frt-end-clunk.67333/ I bought parts to replace mine, but it's been long enough I forgot what I bought. Full upper arms, lower BJs, sway bar links, and I think that's it. I'll gladly pay a few extra bucks...

The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

What bypass noise are you talking about, assuming you're referring to the fronts? All of the front options you mentioned (OEM 2.5s, OEM 3.0, aftermarket 3.0) are internal bypass shocks, so there really isnt the type of "bypass noise" you'd associate with external bypass shocks.

GEN 2 Method Carbon Fiber Wheels

WOW thats just amazing. Thanks for the input. I have a twin turbo carbon fiber vespa on a 300 shot of NOS that would put your Ducatis to shame.

Used the Raptor to tow home my 944 this weekend.

I've towed our 21' jet boat to the river plenty of times without much issue, but it does slap the bumps a bit. Did it I think once or twice without the deavers, but always with my airbump kit. Also rented a trailer for a week and towed that thing about 1000 miles total without too much issue...

Used the Raptor to tow home my 944 this weekend.

Is it though? It's a truck meant for being comfortable off-road more than for towing. A standard half ton truck has a bit more capacity for weight, and the stiffer ride to show for it.

    Baja Raptor Run

You don't need a fully built rig to go to Baja at all. Reliability is king in Baja, and a stock truck is plenty reliable when in good working order.

    Baja Raptor Run

Baja is a fantastic time, and really isn't that hard to do on your own with a little research and sense of adventure, but going with someone who knows a bit makes things easier. You don't need a fully built truck, long-travel, upgraded shocks, lights and bumpers and cages, but you do need a few...

    GEN 2 Radio CB Antenna

I got the PCI chase kit with cigar plug, console mount plate, 50W or so, made a very simple mount for the bed corner, ran it into the cab very easily as well. Havent had a chance to use it much, but it's much better than a handheld Baofeng I used for years before that. I was going to do a...

Review from stock suspension to mid travel and all flavors in between

The worst part about Fox is the lead time. Any order I've made for my trucks through AccuTune, a large dealer of theirs, has taken months.

    Console storage solution

Yeah, I took a pic, then ended up re-running it. It's all in the door sills under the trim and then under the carpet around the front seat frame, then comes back inside of the console, all under the carpet.

    Console storage solution

Sorry to hijack, but...I mounted the antenna on the front drivers corner of the bed, against the cab and ran it up the passenger side. Routed it up around front of the front passenger seat to lose some of the 5' of excess coax I had without coiling it up. On the passenger side of the console...
