So as the title says anybody running the E-rated ToyoAT3 in a 35? Reason I ask is their C-rated 6 ply's have a low rating of 35psi, lower load rating than stock, and really low speed rating. Ultimately, Toyo themselves recommend the E rated 35" for the Raptors. I've read they are compliant...
...is 99% street driven and I want to stick with an AT tire, but there are no other LR Cs available and all other quality tires (Nitto RG, ToyoAT3, Mickey Thompson etc. ) are so much heavier. The ToyoAT3s are the lightest of the bunch at 79 lbs vs ~63 for the OEM 37's... I don't want to...
Thank you! Those look fantastic. Ordered a set and also went with the ToyoAT3...getting them installed along with Eibach springs in the front for a level in two weeks
No issues. That being said I am running the Eibach fronts on a 37 truck. Even stock, I’m not certain it would rub. You need to also factor the tire. The Yoko X-at’s are noticeably larger in circumference than the Toyoat3’s that are currently on the truck. Both are 37 x 13.5
$2500
Approx 1000 miles.
Nothing wrong ...just going with something else.
35x12.5x17 Open Country AT3 C load
17x8.5 ET0 wheels
includes TPMS
Only 82 lbs mounted ....16lb weight savings over stock 3rd gen beadlock with K02 wheels
Looking to run TE37 (18x9 -1) with ToyoAT3 37x12.5 and hoping not to trim. Anyone have a similar setup and what mods were needed?
Appreciate the feedback!
...love the VenomRex (now Vorsteiner) 601BL in Baja bronze. The wheels are strong (flow-forged) and very capable off-road/overlanding. They’re also one of the lightest out there.
I don’t like the look of Methods.
I’ve run BMG KM2’s, General Grabber X3’s, and currently have ToyoAT3’s in them.
The RT comment is accurate . That tread pattern, if not rotated regularly and air pressure not exact, gets chopped up super quickly. The new RT Trail looks great and i might consider it for my next set. I am on my 3rd set of ToyoAT3's.
I'd be happy to help get you dialed in. For what you're wanting to do and how much you're off pavement, the Method Trail Series wheels (7xx) will all be great options with their Bead Grip technology.
As for fitment, the standard fitment that most do is 17x8.5 0 offset. This will give you some...
I have those wheels with Falken Wildpeak AT3w, same dimensions as the ToyoAT3 agt 37x12.5. On my 35 truck, with 1.5 inch RPG collars, and +4.5 caster, they fit without rub, but it is close at full lock.
