...the bill. What type of look are you going for? Still appear to be aggressive but good highway manners? The Cooper AT3 XLT has an aggressive sidewall but more of street tread.
If you want a more aggressive looking tire that is also good on the road I'd go with the new ToyoAT3.

Thanks for the write up, I’ll be doing the same when my MY22 is ready! I’ll have a 680 mile ride back to the Bay Area and hope it goes as well as yours. Have my Vin and build date, just hope it stays true.
It's very confusing. Discount Tire Direct lists a load range C 315/70/17 AT3, but it shows Out Of Stock, Call For ETA. I've been watching the DTD site for 6 months and they've been out of stock that whole time. I don't believe they ever had them in stock. I emailed DTD and Toyo and got the...
At nearly 41,000 miles my OEM BFG KO2s are nearly toast. Based on remaining tread they’ll make it to about 45,000 miles before needing replacement, but they are so loud at this point I can’t wait to get rid of them and am considering trying a different tire. I’ll be keeping the stock size of...
I put zero faith in Toyo’s warranty. I had the A/T II’s on my Power Wagon, and with less than 40k miles they were done. I took them to Les Schwab where they came from, and I was told I had at least 10,000 miles more on them according to Toyo’s warranty. At this point we were headed into winter...
That's actually pretty shocking. I haven't ridden in a truck with AT3's yet but my Toyo RT's were quieter than KO2's so it's odd their all terrain is that loud. We've sold about a dozen sets and no complaints. I just put a set on my brother in laws Jeep Gladiator. He said can't tell a difference...
Are you asking what? Or is “wut” an abbreviation for something I’m not aware of.
I don’t notice a difference in noise level between the Bfg KO2 versus my new ToyoAt3’s if that was what you were asking. But I also don’t have the best hearing. Too many gunshots and sirens over the years....lol
I love these tires. Just got a full set on my grand Cherokee and the traction on them is insane. I was very surprised to say the least! And they are winter rated as well while still providing 60k mile warranty. And smooth on the pavement for what they are. Probably will get these for the rappy...
Yeah unfortunately they are E rated, only have 50 miles on them but it was a very good start and noticeable difference. 1st choice was toyo open country at3 but they were on national back order, at least thats what I was told by 4 different tire shops.
It's their newest tire. It's supposed to be very good, but I don't have any actual experience with them.
I think that Toyo gets a bar rap sometimes, but I think they are great tires. I wouldn't run any other rubber. Once again, the key is inflation and rotation. Do that (and that's for any...
...than to get the 35" kit and get a new upgraded front Fox shock that will be set for a 37" tire/wheel.

I would prefer to choose my own wheels and tires (Method 18" with ToyoAT3 37"-18)
I want a black interior.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Most of your mods are right along with mine with the exception of the tune. My CAI is more for aesthetics, but is made by Roush and I went with that because it was CARB legal and the dealer sells it.
My tune has been flawless and I'll admit your concerns ran...
I don't think the load range C 315/70/17 AT3 have hit the market yet. Discount Tire Direct has had them listed as out of stock for a few months and they aren't even on Toyos website yet. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on these.
...easily out handles it. Yes the VA sounds amazing but also does sound like an overt motorboat.
Future. Thinking about 18” Method wheels and ToyoAT3 37’s. I have to say the current rate is so good I’m a little worried that it might impact the performance.
Let me know if you have any...
Not many places carry the 315/70/17 Toyo RTs, but I found some.

Tire distributor buddy of mine said the same thing more or less... sold a ton of them and no noise complaints.
Obviously the harmonics are going to vary from brand to brand. KO2's pitch is probably lower.. the noise increases with speed.. 75-80 is when it really is noticeble.
