@MidnightSpecial Innov8 is more about strength. They are lighter than oem but there are lighter options out there. Tire weight makes a way bigger difference in terms of acceleration and braking though. ToyoAT3 is 59lbs and the Goodyear Territory MT is low 50’s.
...likes to have Road Force number prior to warrantying a tire. I still have a shimmy in mine so looks like I will be going back a 3rd time. Ran into same issue in my AT4 with ToyoAT3's. I'm not sure what is going on with tire manufactures lately but having this many be out of round is...
I’m gonna go w/ the ToyoAT3’s the KO2s performed well for me (including wet- altho didn’t get a chance yet to see how they are when 30% or less tread left) but didn’t last long, if the Toyos are only a few lbs heavier & may last longer I’ll be happy. They def look aggressive & I like to be a...
Looking for the same. After doing research I think I’m going with the toyoat3’s. They’re light and do not have such an aggressive tread pattern for road resistance.
I sure experts could chime in?
...a much larger overall amount of the common Raptor owner usage vs max off-road grip I can see why that is. Frankly, I'd much rather have a ToyoAT3 that is C-rated as well with higher speed ratings like OEM or hey maybe BFG wakes up and releases a K03 this decade (or century). That tire is...
Hi -
I'm about to pull the trigger on the Venom Rex 601 20" in Mystic Black and add ToyoAT3 tires. I currently have the upgraded forged wheels that come with the carbon fiber package on my Gen 3. Any downside to moving to the 20"? Will it affect anything performance related to suspension or...
...5k outta them I don’t think I’ll get 10k, anticipated having to swap em out sometime in the spring/summer so I already have a fresh set of ToyoAT3’s in the garage to throw on when the time comes. So for me….I’d say 35-40k tops, mine were always rotated & kept @ proper psi & still seem to be...
Good choice, hope you like them! Honestly I did not notice the difference in weight between the two. You could always change the wheels to a lighter setup to offset the difference if that was in the budget as well.
Couldn't find another related thread on this particular question. If I missed it my apologies. If you can point me to it I will remove this one (if I can delete).
I will be moving forward with 37's. I am still undecided between 17/18 and 20's either will have 37" rubber. I personally like the...
Saw some toyoat3s on a rap on the lot, looked great. Think a member on here got them and said they performed great, but noticed a bump in stiffness.
I was stuck between them and the cooper at3 xlts, went with the coops after my k02s cracked.
Even though theyre E theyre 2 ply sidewall so...
Hey all,
So I’m currently running Toyo Open Country AT3 325/60/20 on my Gen 2. (Measure to 35.4’ tall) Originally wanted 37s when I first swapped stock set but shop didn’t have in stock so I pulled the trigger..
Dilemma now is I want to go up to a 37 but also want to keep the extra width that...
I keep seeing Toyoat3 as well as a good option in d load rather than e if that matters to you. Im probably headed in that direction. The ko2s following is strong. I have never had c load range, just e. No real complaints other than the road noise at this point. people claim the ko2s are...
...in city speeds, highway felt much smoother. I swapped back to the new wheels and tires until i was able to get new tires. I ended up getting Toyoat3 315/70/r17 load d tires (stock size but 4 lbs heavier). Definitely better riding on highway, but almost more "Bouncey".. My Mechanic buddy took...
As long as your staying with the stock diameter the odometer or speedometer readings will stay the same. Downside is a harsher ride, and little less off road capability.
This.
There are some nice load range C tires coming out in the 315/70R17 size though thanks to more Raptors being produced and Sasquatch Bronco's using this size. I know Toyo offers the AT3 (35x12.50), RT and MT in load range C. And Goodyear has the OEM Bronco Territory M/T tire. And General...
I put those exact wheels on mine and noticed a very slight decrease in ride quality and an increase in cornering due to less sidewall flex. Overall I’m very happy with them and wouldn’t go back to stock.
