I’ve always replaced the ugly antenna with a stubby. I forgot how annoying the OEM antenna was until I did my 700 mile drive home with it after picking up my Gen3. The damn thing sways in the breeze and bends. Any time my peripheral vision caught a glimpse I wanted to get out and rip it off.
