Apparently a ongoing issue that still has no recall, although if you have to change your gasket the whole assembly is to be changed.. Takes 5 hrs according to the shop, service manager showed me all the steps, definitely would pay someone to take care of all..

I had 6 that were swollen when I had a tire rotation, Ford dealer said it happens all the time with these stock ones, as condensation gets in and then freezes and swells.. Prefer locking to keep a honest man honest

I’m actually trying to see if I need new springs when I put new FACTORY shocks in, or can I use the old springs still? I’ll probably get the current shocks rebuilt for later. I don’t jump mine per say, but I did really like the Cadillac ride over holes and bumps… which we have a crap ton here...
