It does happen. I believe you need to be willing to fly/drive anywhere to pick it up. Very local/rural/mom and pop stores are probably the only way to get it done without being a fleet purchaser.
But if your trying to get MSRP as a first time buyer, in or around a city, at a dealership...
Don’t do both. Spend the Ravelco money on getting compustar.
IGLA and compustar is the better approach.
You need something that signals you to a break in and also if someone messes with the vehicle where the axis changes.
Biggest thing is protect your truck by doing something. Every...
I won't try to stir the pot too much. Your best source for all this info is the TRX forum. There is thousands of entries on this topic.
Yes ravelco can be beat quite easily. There are videos over on the TRX forum showing how its done.
Best bet is IGLA with compustar. Nothings full proof...
Yes at MSRP. Local ford dealer who sells nothing over sticker (at least not to local deliveries, not sure what they do for out of state sales). They had an 801 a month ago for 4K off.
They didn’t get a 23 allocation but I got the first 24.
Just heard from dealer. FINALLY got scheduled for the week of 5/27 for my R. Carbonized gray, graphics delete, roof, spray in liner.
First placed order 7/22. Almost 2 years later I’m scheduled.
Can’t wait.
I would direct you to the TRX forum for complete details on every IGLA installer in the US by city. It also includes who’s good and who isn’t.
This is how I found mine in PA.
There is also a guy on there who installs the stuff in Kentucky and he is one of the training technicians for newer...
The key fobs have a very long range. Thieves can even clone your signal from inside your house when they are outside of it. To be most diligent you would keep it in a faraday box all the time except to start the vehicle.
Don’t forgot though, they don’t even need your key to steal your car...
If you have the key fob on you with no protection (ie faraday box, aluminum foil) then yes.
If using the app only and no key fob on your person your good to go. Unfortunately they can still break in and steal you car after programming an additional key fob and then drive away. They don’t...
I don’t sell this stuff. Nice comment ass clown.
My TRX had Ravelco. Attempted theft and had to reprogram a whole new key set. Introduce IGLA. Now they can’t. They still can flat bed the truck out. So be it.
Now I also have a Durango hellcat that I put IGLA on.
My R when delivered...
This!!
Unfortunately IGLA and compustar/drone are the way to go.
Ravelco will still allow for key reprogramming while IGLA will not. Also retain remote start.
Image that Ravelco saves you vehicle from getting stolen and you still have to get it towed because they made a new key and...
Is anyone using IGLA and compustar? I have this currently on my hellcat Durango which is awesome.
I was going to put this on my R whenever it arrives.
I used Ravelco on my TRX which I thought was good enough but there are now videos on the TRX forum showing how to defeat Ravelco which...
I would agree with this completely. My gen 2 could easily get about 550-600 miles per tank. My TRX the best I’ve seen was 410. However no matter the trip either truck can outlast my wife’s bladder. So to me it doesn’t matter that much.
Now waiting for my R.
There’s no confusion at all. They want more money than your willing to give them so they will open it up to the highest bidder.
I can’t imagine how many of these posts will start to happen when the R actual starts to be delivered.
Who knows. May even happen to me. Even with signed...
I can’t imagine they would on a halo vehicle.
The real question is, what’s fords reason to put them back in. Won’t help sales and decreases profit to put back in.
