New setup coming from Moto Metal Mayhem 20" and 37" Pro Comp AT2 tires. I will say the Pro Comps were amazing and lasted 63k miles! But, bought new wheels and tires for the price of just the Pro Comps.
New is 37x12.5 17 Milestar Patagonia XT (Wanted AT but they didn't have them), and Kansei...
Unfortunately I did not, was just excited to get the truck back. They are a very reputable shop near me, and they could have charged me for both camshafts but didn't. I wish I would have asked for it though.
Got the truck back last Friday, and we are back to normal. Not a cheap fix, but we are fixed. Only 1 camshaft needed replaced, all rockers, timing chains, and seals. Now on to new wheels and tires tomorrow.
I was told the lobes yes. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, but never actually tore into an engine. Do all other things myself. I have a OBDII scanner not matter what I did it always came back to the same issue.
Didn't know anything about a meet up, stay extremely busy with my sons baseball...
Not much movement in this thread, and I am still dealing with the issue. Truck gets driven maybe 1-2 days a week so hasn't worried me a ton. Have changed plugs, secondary plugs, plug wire, coil pack, switched coil with another cylinder, and fuel injector. All with same issue cylinder 1 misfire...
Exact same issue started 3 weeks ago on my 2011 with 145k miles. Runs great other than on or off the brakes at less than 2-5mph. Very annoying for sure. Anyone figure it out or just saying “normal” still?
UPDATE - Mine just put up the check engine with code P0301 (Misfire cylinder 1).
Went back to O'Reilly yesterday and they price matched RockAuto :). Was listed at $839 and matched down to $369! Hope to have it tomorrow. Fuse seems to be good.
