All I can say right now after driving it for about 50 miles: WOW, absolutely night and day difference in handling and feel.
If you're in NorCal - I highly recommend Devil Mountain Diesel. Mark and Jason are top notch...
And since you'd be moving from a Gen 2 to Gen 3 - immediately ceramic coat it, PPF it, ceramic coat it again and then one more layer of PPF just to be sure

I travel often for work and leave my truck sitting for 1-2 weeks at a time. Like @downforce137 mentioned, get yourself a battery tender. Super easy to hook up and you won't have to deal with a drained battery anymore.
I too have the car disease. We recently bought my wife a Mach-E as the run-about and DD. So far we're really loving it.
It's definitely dependent on your house/solar/wiring if you can support an EV but for us, we're basically driving it around for free because we already produce more solar...
New idea: go mid travel, dual bypasses, and 39s. That way you have to get glass and you can start all over again.
